Watch LIVE: Peyton Manning Press Conference

The Denver Broncos will introduce Peyton Manning as the next quarterback of the franchise at the team’s Dove Valley facility at approximately 1 p.m. (MT) today.  The press conference will be streamed on the team’s official website, DenverBroncos.com.

Broncos Vice President of Football Operations John Elway, Head Coach John Fox and Manning are all expected to address the media.  You can watch the press conference live by clicking here.  The announcement is expected to be approximately thirty minutes long.

The team may also announce the un-retiring of jersey No. 18 for Manning, as that is what he will be wearing this season.  Frank Tripucka, who was Denver’s first quarterback to wear the number, has consented to the team un-retiring the jersey for Manning.

    Manning admitting he’s not 100% and was open with all teams throughout the process.

    He keeps reiterating his eagerness to get to work, with his teammates and with the trainers.

    Oh dear God, did Manning just say what I think he just said? He said that if we keep Tebow, he’s gonna be the best teammate and help him achieve his goals. Umm.. Elway, I know you already have plans to move him, but it might behoove you to keep Tebow and have him be mentored by Manning. With Manning openly just saying he’ll work with Tebow, you can become an even bigger legend by keeping him and grooming him along with Manning. 

    I’m not holding my breath, but it’s at least an opening.

    And holy hell, Manning is making me “out of my mind” excited!!!

    Manning said if he needed to, yes, he could play a game this Sunday. “Maybe not as good as I’d like,” but he could play.

    To all the fans of Tim Tebow:

    You just saw a total class act!

    Peyton Manning is a player and a man, the likes of which are rivaled only by a player and a man like Tim Tebow.

    I believe it will be in the Broncos best interest and Tim Tebow’s best interest to remain with the Denver Broncos.  I can see incredible opportunities for victory and the building of a dynasty for years to come.  That is my hope.

    If it does not happen and Tebow has to be traded, I hold John Elway at his word, that he will do what’s best for the organization AND Tim Tebow, in that decision.  He said so much in the press conference and I believe him.

    But speaking for myself as just a fan…

                              KEEP TIM TEBOW, John. 

    It’s the right thing to do for us all.

     To all of you Bronco Fans…By getting Peyton…you also got about 100,000 more fans. Almost everyone in INDIANA is planning on buying a #18 Bronco Jersey!!
