Im okay with everyone we picked. Sure there's probably a plan to get a DT in FA.

I'm good with their draft as well.
Let's face it, this draft didn't have an Ndamukong Suh in it, but it possibly had the linebacker equivalent in Miller, which I think is why we took him.
Also, by the time we picked in the 2nd round, we'd have been taking the 13th best Defensive Lineman, which, lets be honest here, probably wouldn't be the above average/stud DL that we needed.
The fact is that this Defense is in such shambles that it will take a few years to rebuild. We can't have 4-5 rookies starting for us, we just can't (unless they were 4-5 Suh type talents, which this draft had arguably only 1 of, which we got in Miller).
We'll address the Defensive Line through Free Agency, whenever that will be, as well as having Ayers in his natural place (DE), as well as Doom (DE). I think this is why we got Irving. That way we'll have Miller, DJ, Irving with Mayo/Haggan rotating in. Our DL will have Ayers, Someone, Vickerson, Doom. That is pretty good. I'm sure we'll draft a Tackle next year if there is a super stud for the taking. But again, this D will take a few more drafts to overhaul. It won't happen in 1 draft. We will supplement vets through FA until we can draft the proper rookies to fill the voids. By the time we get the D in great shape, it'll be time to start looking for a CB because Champ will be just about retired.
All in all, I'm good with this draft and think we're going in the right direction. There were no head scratchers from our front office like there were the last 2 years, so that should be a great sign that we are doing things right.

I'm quite happy with this draft, some of these guys can be starters and turn into beast in a few seasons. Wasn't expecting so many picks to go to defense, which is a good thing.

Some of them already look like they've had their “rookie haircuts”

Virgil Green has the “Trevor Pryce constantly asleep” look to him. Even though Pryce was a DT/DE, he was dominant. Lets hope that Green is just as dominant, but on the Offensive side. Maybe we should draft people with that asleep look more often. haha

I really like this draft for the most part. I still wish we would have taken a DL somewhere in the later rounds. I think most of these guys will be able to have an impact this year (if we get football…). I read somewhere that the Broncos think that they will be able to use Marcus Thomas with Kevin Vickerson as our two DT's. Although as of right now, Thomas is a Restricted Free Agent. We will still have to address DL with free agency at some point. We only have 3 DT's on the roster not including Thomas.

me likes this alot…. linbackers, safeties, they addressed the most important team needs.

not really,dt's top priority but Denver didn't seem to like any available in the 2nd round, I did but they don't pay me for my opinion.

This draft deserves a “C”. Miller, Carter and Big Orlando Franklin made this draft a C for the Broncos. Moore was to be an impact player for us last year but it NEVER happened. the other draftees didn’t amount to much.

Lets not forget my Bronco brothers that we have Ty Warren coming back next year. With a stud like that at DT and Von and Elvis rushing from the outside. OH and dont forget my bot D.J. in the middle. I can’t wait to see what our D will do next season.

Moore is not a bust yet. Give him a chance; an offseason and a chance to study his successes and failures in his rookie season are in order. Not every great player is ready for the field in their rookie season.

Honestly, any draft that nets you 2.5 starters in their rookie season is a good draft. Miller with DROY and Franklin started all season (and was definitely exposed here and there but he has room to grow, right?) and Quinton Carter ended up starting a bunch of games in relief and did well enough.

Nate Irving turned out more raw than hoped but I’ve read he still has potential and with some seasoning he could become the player he was drafted to be. In in all we’ll see but remember than any draft where 50% of the players drafted stick around is a good draft.
