  • …I’d say Brandstater is the starter Week One.  Watching this video on McDaniels, it doesn’t appear he’s too confident that either Orton or Simms will be ready.  I know a lot of people are thinking Simms, but it’s a high ankle sprain, emphasis on high. Those can be brutal. But hey, that’s just a ridiculously preliminary shot in the dark.  [DenverBroncos.com]

wait wait wait, we are going more with a power blocking scheme now?? HMMMMM…………. i could have swore i predicted that very thing months ago………..yes i did. at which point all of you swooped down on me like vultures and proclaimed “YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT KERRY” or “WE KEPT TURNER AND DENNISON KERRY!!” and “LEAVE THIS SITE KERRY!!” and this one “MCDANIELS SAID WE ARE GONNA KEEP THE ZBS KERRY!” and of course this gem:”GO BE A BEARS FAN KERRY!!”

yeah i dont have a clue what im talking about. i predicted this months ago when i said we would be using the power blocking scheme because thats what McDaniels prefers. and what happened? McDaniels HIMSELF stated they were using the power blocking scheme over the ZBS and MCDaniels further states the ZBS will be used in “certain situations” which translates to the power scheme will be used about 95 percent of the time. but again i did predict this one before camp even started. just like i did predict Maualuga WOULDNT go ahead of Laurinitis. he didnt. i was right. and i did predict Maualuga wouldnt go first round. oh i did predict that and i was right again. oh and of course i predicted the Torain injury and eventual release, which of course came to fruition. same with the Shanny firing and so on and so on. and all of you keep saying dont have a clue about football.

Drafting Peyton Hillis was an indication that we were going to do what last season? He’s a finesse runner or a friggin’ bulldozer? I feel like the plan has been in place since the old regime, look at people we picked up Pittman, Torain and even PJ Pope, those guys weren’t skirting around the edges. They were there to stomp on chests Brandon Jacobs style.

At worst we were looking to stick with a ZBS and have power running backs.

“MCDaniels further states the ZBS will be used in “certain situations” which translates to the power scheme will be used about 95 percent of the time”

So now you’ve developed the power to read minds as well, I believe you also said that you loved Raji but then flip flopped…its ok no one noticed.

Kerry: I think you have many deep insights into football, I just think you package those insights in such a cynical egoic way that it makes people assume you’re some kind of troll…maybe hired by the Chargers to deflate Bronco fan spirits on sites like these. LOL

And what’s with this attachment to being correct all the time? Who cares that you said it first? Was there something in the forum rules about this being a competition to see who can predict the most things and then they’ll give you a column or something?

This “I told you so” mentality is more annoying than your constant griping and negativity. I sometimes appreciate your realism in the face of my overwhelming kool-aid idealism concerning the Broncos, but this new tack of “I don’t get no respect around here” mentality has got to go. It reflects a childish know-it-all psychology and an over-inflated tyrannical ego invested in absolute correctness. Who wants to live with that on the same forums?

Kerry: I just plain think you are antagonistic w/ antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). You’d be a much better Raiders fan.

  • Rob Bronco

Wow, poor Kerry. He’s such an NFL guru that he’s trolling sports blogs in an effort to be discovered by some NFL team as the swami of of the gridiron. No one cares if you’re right when you act like a jackass – period.

On a side note – I currently live in San Diego, but I’m moving to FL on Saturday. I’m going to miss making fun of these Chargers fans because they cant watch their team on television because it’s blacked out. Oh, and by the way, I predicted that MONTHS ago. :)

    Kerry

Your message is starting to get stale. Your opinion is that you are right when it comes to Bronco matters, but when your overbearing personality has led other readers to ignore most if not all of your opinions then does it really matter?

Does it really feel good to be right, when no one was listening to you in the first place?

  • http://broncotalk.net (dee)

Just one final note, alot of times I believe Kerry just enjoys the attention that he gets when a large number of us respond to his posts. For those who dont not agree with Kerry or are just sick of him, it may be better not to acknowledge him, I myself have been guilty of not following my own advice in this thread.

Kerry also I have not forgotten our wager. Goodluck to you this season.

  • Estes2SD

    Right on Rob,

I currently live in SD as well and the chargers being blacked out is the best news all off season. I do cherrish the annual trip to the “Q” and I guarantee the bronco faithful will show up to Qualcomm come 10/19/09 making that hopefully the only non blacked out game all year.

    Dee:

you need not remind me of our wager. i know we have a wager and im looking forward to it.

    Kelly:

yeah i can understand how my approach would be offensive to some, but at the same time stating my opinions abrasively is the best way to get a point across. but also most of you are also guilty of slamming me simply because i dont agree with all the “HAPPY OUTLOOKS” of the Denver Broncos when in fact there is none. at first when i disagreed on here it was all ok but then it became “OH YOU ARENT A TRUE FAN KERRY” or “BE A RAIDER FAN KERRY” and blah blah blah. but what bothers all of you the most is that im correct most of the time. thats what REALLY bothers most. i say something bad happening about the team, im later proved right then somehow im the Asshole for it. how does that work exactly?

  • anthony33

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Get over yourself.

Gawd!!! God help me! I agree with Kerry AGAIN! He did predict this, as did several of us!!! This is just another fly in the ointment of my beloved Broncos. Our running game (barring seven RB’s on IR) has been practically legendary… so let’s change it!!!! RIGHT?!!! Goes right along with trading Cutler and failing to calm Marshall enough where he’d be of value to us!!
    (
Let’s say the staff we currently employ goes back in time and picks up Moss from the Raiders…. Would he be the WR the Pats currently have? …or would he be the guy the Raiders couldn’t make use of? Would he be Brandon Marshall?
    )

So now our sub-par starting QB is out with a paper cut and we’ve NOBODY to replace him.

    NICE FREAKING JOB MCDUMBASS

Note to all you who have nothing to say except to respond to Kerry’s style… YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY DO YOU??!!

  • Pete

I haven’t read a Kerry post in weeks, maybe a month. I see the name and skip over it. I have absolutely no idea what he’s said, right, wrong, or indifferent in about a month. It’s quite refreshing actually. I ASSUME that in this thread he pulled some “I told you so” crybaby crap?

  • rcsodak

For you that are crying in your milk about losing the ‘winning’ running game of Shannys…

…oh, what short memories you have.

Seems to me, over the last few years, short yardage and goallline td’s have been almost extinct! Why? How about having “finnesse” blockers, for one! Two? Look at their size!

For years, ya’ll have been crying for Shanny to “get bigger” on the OLINE! More aggressive!

The only problem, though, is it happened AFTER Shanny was canned, and a different coach is implementing the idea.

Too bad ya’ll aren’t mature enough to recognize your blatant hypocricy , because the rest of us sure are.
