After convincingly thumping a division rival in Week 4, several Denver Broncos have been nominated for weekly awards on NFL.com. Quarterback Peyton Manning and running back Willis McGahee have been nominated as FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week.
Voting is open at NFL.com/GMC from Monday through Thursday.  Manning (30-of-38 for 338 yards and 3 TDs) is up against New England’s Tom Brady (22-of-36 for 340 yards and 3 TDs) and Atlanta’s Matt Ryan (25-of-40 for 369 yards and 3 TDs) in the voting.
McGahee (19 carries for 112 yards and a score) is joined by New England’s Brandon Bolden (16 carries for 137 yards and a score) and Tennessee’s Chris Johnson (25 carries for 141 yards and no scores) in the voting. Â Of note is the fact that Johnson’s rushing total was in a losing effort.
Manning’s 300+ yard effort marked his 65th 300-yard game, which is an NFL record. Â McGahee’s 100+ yard effort marked his 32nd 100-yard game, which ranks first among all active NFL players.
