Good morning! Â My name is Tim Lynch. Â Many of you may know me from the many years I spent at Mile High Report, but I am now part of the BroncoTalk crew. Â I’ll try to bring some Broncos wholesomeness your way intermittently, but in the meantime I will be sporting the Daily Links here. Â Don’t be surprised if there is a similarity to MHR’s Horse Tracks in the format as I played a big role in that things evolution over there. Â I tried to change it up slightly, but I do things a certain way and being the creature of habit I am, I’ll continue doing it the way I am used to doing it. Â Links are links anyway…Enjoy!
Peyton Manning-led Denver Broncos the toast of the NFL – Denver Post
Not surprisingly, the idea of pursuing Peyton Manning was hatched in John Elway’s office.
Can Denver’s defense take next step? – ESPN
Barring a setback from the neck injury that cost him the entire 2011 season, Peyton Manning has the Denver Broncos’ offense covered. That side of the ball will be fine and will be in playoff form. But what about the defense?
2012 DRAFT EXPECTATIONS BY TEAM – by Tony Villiotti
A couple of articles ago (Great (Draft) Expectations, available on the website), DRAFTMETRICS presented the “generic†expectations from a draft class. Now that the compensatory draft choices have been awarded for free agency losses, specific expectations for each NFL team can be derived. These expectations are based on historical results from the 1992 through 2005 drafts.
Wins should follow Manning – ESPN
So how many wins is Peyton Manning worth to the Denver Broncos? When the game of quarterback musical chairs settles down each year, I try to go bottom-line on the value of new quarterbacks to teams.

Jaguars owner: Tim Tebow didn’t want to come to Jacksonville – The Florida-Times Union

Is Tim Tebow more than a novelty? – ESPN
In some ways, I feel a little sorry about what is happening to Tim Tebow. Going to the New York Jets to be a Wildcat quarterback won’t help him develop as a quarterback. Jets owner Woody Johnson said the team traded for Tebow to acquire a winning player who could add versatility to the Jets’ offense.
