Week 14 Injury Report — Denver Broncos vs. Chicago Bears
Sunday, Dec. 1, 2011, Sports Authority Field at Mile High

Denver Broncos:

Questionable: RB Willis McGahee – Knee; WR Eddie Royal – Concussion.

Probable: S David Bruton – Achilles; S Quinton Carter – Cramps; T Ryan Clady – Knee; RB Jeremiah Johnson – Ankle; LB Von Miller – Thumb; DT Mitch Unrein – Back;

Chicago Bears:

Out: QB Jay Cutler – Right Thumb; RB Matt Forte – Knee; S Major Wright – Shoulder.

What we know:  Last week I wrote here that it sounded like Miller would play and that Royal wouldn’t.  On Sunday, Royal played and Miller didn’t.  So this week I’m just going to keep my mouth shut.

I wonder if the info we get from most teams is really information or mis-information meant for the opponent of the week!  Not that anyone has ever done that!!!!

  • Just being honest…

Can anyone explain to me whether these statuses are based on anything at all?

Why would any team tell the truth?

  • Anonymous

The league mandates that they tell the truth.
Probable means 75% or more chance of playing
    Questionable means 50%
    Doubtful means 25% or less
    Out is out.
If league catches teams lying, such as an abnormal percent of doubtful or questionable guys playing, they will fine the team, possibly more than fines for repeat offenders.
This time of the year, almost everyone could be considered probable, but teams don’t waste the time to bother putting everyone on the injury report, so they save it for guys with actual injuries.

This is completely out of line, but…

I keep seeing these Orb speakers on various websites (including the one to the left).  Anyone have them?  Do you like them?

    I know, off base.

Glad Miller is back, hope he sets the rookie sack record against Brady.

    Go Broncs

Big Pete, thanks for that information, I didn’t know that there was any consequence  linked to the injury report.   As I think about it now, that makes sense.

I think its a google ad.  You must have looked at them and now google is invading your privacy.  I have never seen an ad for Orb speakers anywhere before
