    To answer MJDummy’s question.  Quinn wasn’t going to do any better than Orton or Tebow in the passing game.  The reason Tebow went in was because he was another run option to take the heat of McGahee.  Quinn was going to be stuck with the same situation as Orton and Orton refused to run.

    We’ll see Quinn start/play before the end of the season. No way Tebow gets through 11 games running with the ball every other play.

    Maghee is stud. That’s how an RB should play. You listening Moreno?!? He was the MVP of the game. Looks like the O-line is starting to play better. Surprised Miller was benched. Wonder what happened there.

    Not that excited to see Tebow, but maybe it’ll shut up the fan base. The bomb McDaniels set off has not completely exploded. Tebow as the starter should be ( I hope) the final blast.

      1.  Love and respect your fans, your city and state and your team…and IN THAT ORDER!

      2.  See #1 and take it to heart!

     Jay Cutler never learned it.  Neither did Brandon Marshall.  There were others.

    Kyle Orton hasn’t learned it.  Based on remarks he reportedly made yesterday, he may never get it:

      An Orton quote from Mike Klis at The Denver Post:  “People’s opinion don’t matter to me, man,” Orton said defiantly. “I left that a long time ago”.

    Peyton Hillis learned it and he is STILL loved and respected in Broncos’ Country.  John Elway certainly retains it.  Even our new running back Willis McGahee has learned it.  So have our beloved “transplants”, Champ Bailey and Brian Dawkins.  Tim Tebow was BORN with it. 

    That is the single biggest difference.  Some learn it; some do not.  It’s not just about talent.  It’s not just about winning or even being the best to ever play your position.  It’s much more important than that!  It’s about the mutual respect and the bond that is made between the players and their fans and our community. 

    If you learn it, you’re in.  If you don’t, (Mr. Orton and others), you’re gone!

    I think you have the pro game cornfused with college. These guys play for whomever pays them the most. Period.
    And good for Orton. At least he vocalizes what every nfl player feels.
    All players say they “love where they’re at”…..whether its with team 1, 2 or beyond.

    The only reason anyone would want Quinn to start would be if we prefer to see interceptions thrown.

    Because throwing in the dirt is a much better option.  At least Colquit can add to his stats then.

    I think you are mostly correct.
     
    I don’t see your assessment of the coach and his decisions.
     
    Josh McDaniel’s destroyed the second best offense in the NFL.  Period.
     
    If we had the same offense as two years ago with Hillis and Marshall, and Tebow at QB from the gitgo . . . we would be hard to put up with.
     
    Same as Cam Newton in Carolina. . . . Draft um’ . . . Start um’.  Yeah we might lose a few games . . . but we weren’t picked to win more than four anyway! 
     
    I like Kyle Orton.  He will be a great back-up QB . . . if not here, somewhere else.
     
    Time to throw the bones and see what we get.   At least with TT at QB . . . the fan’s will be in their seats screaming . . . instead of the “who care’s” attitude on the walk-ways.

    There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into
    consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts
    above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the
    one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in
    honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around
    things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a
    fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s
    pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
