The Denver Broncos‘ schedule hasn’t done them any favors. They’re 1-3 and just coming away from a blowout loss in Green Bay. Things are down, fans are up in arms… but there are still signs this team is heading in the right direction. Let’s see if those below elevation 5,280 agree. (Previous week’s ranking in parenthesis)
ESPN: 27th (26)
Hosting the Chargers should be a more reasonable gauge than traveling to Green Bay was.
FOX: 27th (26)
The interceptions will bring about the end of Kyle Orton in Denver quicker than anything else will. No shame in losing to the Packers in Green Bay, but the upcoming San Diego and Detroit games may put them over the edge.
CBS: 28th (26)
It’s hard to blame the quarterback for the defensive woes. Can Tebow play linebacker?
National Football Post: 26th (25)
John Fox’s defense was exposed in the loss to Rodgers and the Packers.
Walter Football: 25th (25)
The electronic sign didn’t convince John Fox to start Tim Tebow.
Nice try, Bronco fans. Next time, try something more drastic. I don’t know, maybe like buying (renting?) an elephant, getting it “excited,” having it splooge all over Fox’s car, dipping your finger into the substance and writing “TEBOW MUST START.” That might get Fox’s attention
(Ed. note: We tried that, it didn’t work either).
