Broncos fans, Friday’s your chance to meet the cornerstones of your defense for the next five to ten years.
The Denver Broncos will hold a Back to Football Pep Rally on Friday, Sept. 9, from 5-8 p.m. in Skyline Park (16th and Arapahoe) in downtown Denver in advance of their season opener on Monday Night Football against the Oakland Raiders.
Among the guests of honor? None other than the 2011 Two-Headed Machine of Pure Quarterback Destruction, Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller (“Von Doom”).
WR Eric Decker and RBs Willis McGahee and Knowshon Moreno represent the other active Broncos set to make appearances, and a host of Broncos alumni, including Karl Mecklenburg and Randy Gradishar, will be in attendance as well.
The pep rally will include a live band, cheerleaders, food and drink specials, giveaways, cheerleaders, Miles, Thunder, cheerleaders, and a live radio broadcast by 850 KOA’s “The Dave Logan Show.” Did we mention cheerleaders?
Downtown businesses are encouraged to get their employees in on the fun (wear orange). For those who can’t attend, there’s a related contest happening online at DenverBroncos.com/backtofootball.
If we were in the Denver area we’d certainly be downtown Friday. Have fun getting ready for the 2011 season Broncomaniacs.
