The Broncos had until Tuesday to get their roster down to 80 players, they got a jump start on Monday.
The team has until 4 p.m. (MT) on September 3rd to get down the the final 53-man roster and 46 players will be allowed to dress on game days. Press release after the jump.Â
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos released cornerback Nate Jones and waived six other players, it was announced Monday.
Denver’s roster currently stands at 80 players. The Broncos must cut their roster to the regular-season limit of 53 players by 4 p.m. MDT on Sept. 3.
