Denver Broncos safety David Bruton left Sports Authority Field at Mile High Saturday in an ambulance following the Broncos’ 24-10 victory Saturday night, the Denver Post reports. Bruton suffered a head injury in the third quarter and walked off the field with heavy support from Broncos trainers but was gurneyed out of the locker room following the game.
Two Buffalo Bills players also sustained what might have been serious injuries. WR Donald Jones was sent to a Denver hospital following a vicious high hit by Broncos rookie S Rahim Moore, and RB Johnny White was sidelined following a spinning tackle by Broncos LB Mario Haggan.
Bruton has been a special teams ace for the Broncos so, while the competition at secondary for the Broncos is intense this season, his absence will be felt. We wish Bruton and both Bills players speedy recoveries and will keep an eye on their respective situations.
