Hallelujah, right? The Broncos have until Feb. 23rd to franchise tag Bailey, although the Denver Post suggests Denver’s not heading in that direction.
Denver has resumed contract talks with 10-time Pro Bowl cornerback Champ Bailey, but things don’t look very promising as he is now planning to sell his Littleton, Colorado home. Â The Broncos, however, want him to stay. “We’ve had some dialogue there,” said Broncos Head Coach John Fox. “There have been discussions. He’s a guy we definitely want to bring back.”
The question is, how much do they want him back? Â If Denver doesn’t come up with a contract Bailey and his agent can agree on, Champ may not be a Bronco for much longer.
