Following a 24-23 comeback victory over the Houston Texans Sunday, there’s plenty to be excited about in Broncos Country.

  • Receiver Brandon Lloyd now has 1,360 rec. yards this season for the second most in team history for a year.  (Rod Smith had 1,602, in 2000).  [Broncos PR man Patrick Smyth]
  • This season (eight games, two starts), rookie quarterback Tim Tebow has gone 25-of-46 through the air for 449 yards, three touchdowns and one interception while adding 30 rushes for 133 yards and 5 touchdowns.  [NFL.com Stats]
  • “No matter what Tebow does,” linebacker Mario Haggan said, “good things seem to happen.” [DenverBroncos.com]

    I have registered (as anthony33), but have only posted once or twice in 2 years. Read it everyday though, just like this, predominately orange and mile high sports.

    you should post more, there are many good guys there as opposed to the few here… /no offense to the great ones here(you know who you are)

    The Texans have beat up on the Colts, Titians, Raiders, Chiefs, and Redskins. We have lost to three of those teams and have been blown out twice by the Raiders. Can we please stop using the “worst secondary” argument to try and take away from a very good effort from a player who is starting only his 2nd game?

    What Tebow will accomplish next season is up in the air, but lets just enjoy the little bit of hope he has given us this season. GO BRONCOS !!!

    I don't think we can really count Cin as a 4th quarter comeback for Orton but if you remembered all of those games off the top of your head I give you MAJOR props.

    You are right about the defense. I don't think we win 10 games with a good one but we would have at least had a shot.

    You are right on the play calling but let's also not forget that 3rd down means blitz and the fact that any time a lineman looked at Orton he would fall down. I'm being dead serious too when I say that I have never ever seen a QB panic in the pocket and literally run into a defender multiple times in a game before either haha. Looking back at it, it's kind of comical.

    Orton would have been sacked 5 or 6 times in the Houston game.

    That and he is a terrible coach and gm (please nobody read this and try and bring up the super bowls John Elway won for this team 11 years ago off of a club that Shanahan didn't build).

    Redskins are -72 this year and will probably fire him. Even Jim Zorn was only -70

    He will probably be fired along with his son so I guess they will be available as a package deal if someone is crazy enough to actually let him run a 3rd team into the ground.

    And please, don't someone even try to tell me about the #2 ranked offense because it was 16th in points scored. Shanahan didn't have a Broncos team break the top 15 in points scored since Elway left. Our offense sucked under Shanahan

    That's one of my favorite things about Tebow, that guy doesn't go down easily… I also love when he just takes off out of the pocket (not when it's a planned run).

    I'd love Fisher as hc and Kubiak or Dennison as oc. If Fisher is available of course.
