Royal, Lloyd among nine to miss Wednesday practice

Nine players sat out Denver Broncos practice Wednesday, but head coach Josh McDaniels wouldn’t rule out any one of them for Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

They include the five who missed last Sunday — safeties Brian Dawkins (knee) and Darcel McBath (ankle), linebackers Robert Ayers (foot) and Wesley Woodyard (hamstring), and cornerback Andre Goodman (quadriceps) — along with cornerback Champ Bailey (ribs), defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson (groin), and wide receivers Eddie Royal (groin) and Brandon Lloyd (non-injury related).

The Raiders are battling injury issues of their own, particularly at quarterback.

    With all of these injuries the Broncos have on “key” players, the Raiders have a legitimate chance of beating us.

    Even if we had all those players back, I still believe they have a legitimate chance of beating us. It seems like we always have a difficult time against any of our afc west opponents. I believe we can win the game, but wouldn't surprise me if we lost.

    Raiders have won 2 straight at Denver and Denver has lost 12 of their last 16 games. Lets be honest, until Denver proves otherwise any team has a legitimate chance of beating Denver. Denver is just as bad as the Raiders and the Chiefs have been since the last 1/2 of last year and now. This is an opportunity for Denver to start to show they are no longer bottom feeders. Win the next and hit the bye at .500. Lose 1 or both and start looking at possible draft picks.

    No way the Broncos will loose on Sunday.

    even with half the Team out they are still better then this Years Raiders.
