Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno will not participate in practice Thursday, a day after making his first practice appearance since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 2. The latest

Time to downgrade Knowshon Moreno’s status from “hopeful” to “questionable” for Sunday’s game at Baltimore.

The Broncos’ starting running back will not practice today, coach Josh McDaniels said this morning. That, after Moreno returned to the field Wednesday for the first time since injuring his hamstring Sept. 23.

It’s sad that Moreno’s 2.8 yards per carry is a mouthwatering proposition at this point, but, put simply, it is. And the Broncos could use Moreno’s knack for escaping tackles behind the line of scrimmage against B’more this week. We’ll keep you posted.

Our running game needs him, but perhaps even more so needs Spencer Larsen back

This works out well for the Ravens. They struggled against Peyton Hillis with the Browns, but can shut down the run against most teams in the NFL.

I for one would like to see Brown. He cannot possibly be any worse.

haha missing Trevor Price yet? Boldin and Houch don't add up to a good D Lineman IMO

Ever heard of Haloti Ngata? We're fine without Pryce, he's a 35 year old who had one tackle this season.

I wrote this under the Bailey news– but it mysteriously vanished a minute later– but perhaps Denver is eying a draft-pick and/or Steelers 5'11, 230 lb. 6th-rd RB Jonathan Dwyer if they are serious about getting something now for Bailey (rather than opening Bowlen's checkbook in the of-season).

After all, Belichick showed the way with Seymour and Randy Moss garnering trade-value.

And Dwyer looked solid in the pre-season against our defense (even if it was partly second-teamers).

I'm not saying I want Bailey traded. I'm just speculating about what we could be desiring in return. Perhaps Baltimore is also a landing-spot, after this week's game is finished.
