- Shannon Sharpe has taken a leave of absence from CBS while he settles a family violence complaint.
- Details about the complaint can be found here. Sharpe hasn’t been charged with a crime or arrested, but the retraining order filed against him cites some pretty serious stuff.
- Clinton Portis insinuated that a pretty female reporter might be attracted to professional male athletes, then hurriedly apologized. Give me a break.

- Financially, the Denver Broncos front office is making the right decisions.
