He doesn't SOUND ready. I read a lot of hesitation between the lines. His confidence level is not at its highest…and it may not be until he gets a few games under his belt, AND STAYS HEALTHY!

It seems to me, our whole season is based on our being able to score lots of points, because I think we are going to give up a lot of points.

In order to score 30 or more points, which will be necessary in many of our games, our running game MUST be potent and effective. Our offense, for it to work for Orton, must be balanced. If we can't run, we must pass, and if we only pass, Orton may get killed. If that happens, the entire season becomes a question mark! (???)

Running is the linchpin, as I see it, and no one, not even Moreno knows if it's going to work. Every other weakness, every other strength on the team will be magnified by the good or the bad in our running game.

I am deeply concerned…but forever hopeful.

If the entire season is based on scoring 30 or points this season is done before it starts. Orton and a young beat up o-line, a bunch of average receivers (w/ some promising rooks who are not ready to be the men), an average running back core with no game breakers, and no threat from the tight end will be lucky to hit 30 once this year. I am hopeful as well but I think a decent season will be based on the d-line not being horrible, Ayers actually being a 1st round talent, and the aging secondary somehow staying on the field and keeping teams to the high teens. Offense looks to be a low 20 at best.

I KNOW WHAT WE NEED MORENO TO DO. STOP BEING A BABY. GET ON THE FIELD. STAY ON THE FIELD. LIVE UP TO A FIRST ROUND PICK. RUN THE BALL. CATCHT THE BALL. BE A #1 BACK. DONT LET ANYONE ELSE IN THE BACKFIELD. DONT ASK FOR A FEW DOWNS OFF. BE A TOP 5 BACK IN THE NFL. IF WE GET THAT WE MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. I DONT COUNT ON IT. MORENO LOOKS LIKE A BUST.
