Kyle Orton put an end to any quarterback controversy with his strong performance last night. “I’m really excited about our offense,” Orton said. “We’re going to have a unit that can dominate a game.“
But regarding the 2nd QB spot, McDaniels said, “That’s a competitive situation, I really do believe that.”
Others believe it’s already time for Tim Tebow to be promoted over Brady Quinn.
Tebow went 8 of 13 for 105 yards and a rushing touchdown, but most of the completions and yards came on “dump-offs during the closing drive against a soft defense.”
An objective look leans to the conclusion that Tebow still has a lot of work to do.

The way i feel if Orton has a simular poerformance as last night he should play 3-4 drives… Then let Quinn play the rest of the half… then allow Tebow to go crazy with the second unit

Orton did look good but Tebow is showing why he's the Broncos future already and why the Broncos might have a future! That was a perfect throw for a TD that the WR dropped too. It sounds like Tebow's work ethic is so strong and he's so dedicated in being the best he can be! That's also why he was the best in college and dominated! Glad to have him as a Bronco and I feel lucky we do! Orton will always just be, Orton.
