Series vs. Denver: Broncos, 24-16
Last time: Patriots, 41-7, 2008
The Line: Patriots by 3.5

Who’s hot: QB Tom Brady. Maybe “hot” is too strong a word; if it weren’t for three weeks of looking legitimately bad, his pedestrian 258-yard, 1-TD performance Sunday would seem merely lukewarm. But against a Baltimore defense that sacked Brady three times, he got the job done with a one-yard QB sneak for a touchdown while hitting nine different receivers.

Who’s not: RT Nick Kaczur. The entire offensive line hasn’t been spectacular, but right tackle Kaczur has been particularly inconsistent. He was beat cleanly by ex-Bronco Trevor Pryce for a first quarter Brady sack, and has been reportedly struggling all season. This might be the week rookie LB Robert Ayers gets out of the “almost there” zone and finally breaks through.

Matchup to watch: Head coaches Josh McDaniels vs. Bill Belichick, boring sound bites notwithstanding. It’s the Battle of the Hoodies this Sunday, Student vs. Teacher, Apprentice vs. Mentor. And as much as McDaniels insists “it’s just another game,” you know he would love to beat up on his former team (with all due Hoodie respect of course). Football nerds and couch potato coaches, welcome to paradise.

Will be interesting to see how Wes Welker is matched up. If it is against Jack Williams or Alphonso Smith, he could have a big game. Maybe double team with Brian Dawkins?

So how many sacks this week Dooooom?

Our D will be all over little girl Brady all day and we will force him to make mistakes. Probably not as many a Romo (didn't remember he spiked it on 2nd?) but enough for the win.

I really want to see some more chemistry happen between Orton and Marshall, that was great to see and just open up the field more for the Orange Rush. Get better Buck.

Den 24 NE 13_ 1 TD from a Brady fumble and 1 TD deep to Marshall
