Programming Note: Scouting reports

Since the dawn of time (i.e. when BroncoTalk began about 3 years ago), we have provided detailed previews and scouting reports on each week’s upcoming opponent.  In the past, we scoured the Internet searching for video highlights, other sites’ scouting reports and roster breakdowns to provide these reports to you.  You could say these reports were “second hand.”

We will still use these methods in our reports, but it’s safe to say we’re taking our pre-game analysis to another level.  Thanks to the miracle of DIRECTV and DVR, we’re recording each upcoming team’s game and watching it in its entirety, each week.  For example, the Week One game featuring this week’s Broncos opponent, the Cleveland Browns, was recorded.  It was watched.  Four pages of notes were taken.

We’ll try to get the analysis and report of these notes to you, the fan-freaking-tastic BroncoTalk reader, by Friday each week.  We hope you enjoy.
