ESPN’s Merril Hoge and Tim Hasselbeck discuss whether Brandon Marshall has missed too much time or is willing to put in the effort to have a productive 2009 NFL season. What do you think, BT? Is it too little, too late for the Broncos wide receiver?

I truly think that the suspension of Brandon Marshall will have positive effects on his work ethic and value as our #1 WR this year. He may still want out, but he realizes that he needs to produce in order to secure a big offseason pay check, and he can’t do that if he isn’t playing every Sunday. I will be interesting to see if he can produce big numbers with Orton as a QB (and his lack of downfield abilities).

    START BRANDSTATER!!!

We’ll know in within two weeks, maybe less.

Jvill we play Sunday. Back to subject. You can’t really take the words of these guys serious. they have no clue whats going on and instead of reporting facts they state opinions. I guess if Marshall was plannning on having a bum season he’ll seek help from Rod Smith, or report back to practice, or appologize for his behaviour. I just saying that doesn’t sound like a guy who’ll intentionally play bad. And as far as the Orton thing goes I hope he’s not ready and that Tom Bradstater get the starting chance.

I think that guy is an idiot. Do you really think that Brandon is going to continue to pitch a fit? I really don’t think so. Oh, the also forgot to mention (if Vic Lombardi is correct) that his has sought out Rod Smith to help kick him down the right side walk if you will. I could just be me hoping, but I don’t see Brandon being the 5 year old we saw a few days ago.

I agree T. That guy made himself look like an idiot at the end of that video. Brandon Marshall may not be a rocket scientist but he’s not THAT dumb. He (and his agent) know that if he wants a big contract, he needs to be a dominant receiver. ESPN continues to underwhelm.

START BRAND STARTER !!!!!!Let the Branding begian.

  • milehigh

    Sorry Brandstater

Enough with the “start Brandstater” campaign!! The guy has plenty of upside but is in no way ready to be a capable starter in the NFL. I love my Broncos, but its fan base consists of the lowest football IQ in America. Show me Brandstater as the starting QB for Denver this year and I’ll show you a 3-13 season with a very grateful Seattle Seahawks franchise.
