Marshall Ain’t Too Proud to Practice

After being a healthy scratch from Monday’s PM practice, talk of bombshells, and another denial to a new contract, there were heavy rumors that the Broncos and Brandon Marshall could be headed for an “ugly standoff.” Consider that standoff pending – Marshall was in attendance during the team’s practice Tuesday.

So, for the time being, life goes on in Dove Valley. Brandon Marshall may be upset with the Broncos, but that hasn’t kept him from practicing… at least, not until he “tweaks” another “hamstring.”

    Do not get rid of this guy. But do wait and have him prove to you he is worth White money. He is, I’ll tell you now but he needs to show it and not get in any more trouble. McD write the check but wait to sign it.

    yeah lets get rid of him. then if anyone else so much as THINKS about asking for a new contract we should get rid of them too!! so Clady, Royal and Hillis when your time comes to get a new contract dont ask for it and go play somewhere else because this team doesnt have time for guys who have talent. its all about the system now! fuk talented players!!! they are all overrated anyway!

    Marshall is probably too stupid to understand the intricacies of a contract. He just wants to see the dollar amount.

    Denver should give him a new contract that has a ton of money lying on incentives.

    this organization has lost its respect around the league. we need playmakers to redeem us, i say pay the man who cares about the incentives. if you think about that its just common sense to throw them in. If ELWAY couldnt ski why cant Marshall have a neatly stipulated contract. but i do understand why that may be a little problem. Our stupid GM has had conteact writting issues with people with far less talent.

    Oh i also think Larson, Baker and Thomas are future starters. ha

    dont give me any woman abuser crap either i know guys on every team with greater or simular offenses that arent having contract issues. like Shawn the roid Merrien, Ray the killer Lewis, Larry the woman public degrader johnson, ha the raiders as an organization, yeah the list goes on.

    Just for the record, Marshall is to stupid to understand the intricacies of a new contract. That is why is has an agent who does.

    I don’t know Robert. I mean, if he has an agent who is stupid enough to think that this is the proper time to demand a contract or trade, maybe the agent is too stupid to understand the intricacies of a contract as well.

    Yeah, the Broncos aren’t signing Marshall because Xanders and co can’t figure out how to write a contract.

    Seriously thats laughable… There is no reason to believe that Marshall wouldn’t be signed to a new contract if the organization wanted him to be.

    It could be that they have reservations about his attitude, or maybe he insulted Bowlen, or perhaps Bowlen thinks he will be able to get him after the collective bargaining agreement runs out, or they just don’t have enough money, or it could even be that enough soccer moms were making noise over the allegations that they don’t want to look like they are rewarding him for getting off the hook,…

    Luckily the fine for not showing up is big enough to keep him from not learning the system while they figure this stuff out.

    He is an incredible athlete, and I hope the Broncos can figure out how to keep him, and keep him happy and performing.

    I have to say that I am about done with McDictator and Xanders; done with Orton as our starter; done with Jabber kissing McD’s a$$ all the time; done with Bucky and Jordan starting over Hillis; done with the rest of the league laughing at our once proud franchise and done trying to put a possitive spin on what appears to be the biggest disaster since Al Davis buying a team.

    What is going on in this organization? I used to feel a sense of ownership and pride for the Broncos. Now I am a little embarrased. Rooting for another team…just threw up in my mouth a little…is NOT possible.

    At this point, Marshall is gone first chance he gets. If you are a talented player, are you really going to come here? Unlikely.

    I guess the biggest question I have is why didn’t we hire Frazier?

    yeah Marshall was on ST’s as a gunner. and brilliant move by McDaniels. i can see it now, McDaniels on the sidelines in his Napolean hat, boots and sword shouting orders at the players. McDaniels is brandishing his authority because he has a Napoleonic complex. like i said before, we dont need talent. its the system. get rid of all our talent for 7th round picks!!

    Whatever happened to the idea that Shanny was all about bringing in “high character” individuals? Remember that shpiel? He wanted to have locker room comrardarie and selfless players. Then he goes out and drafts this dumbshit. Talented yes, but a talented dumbshit. Cutler, he was a real character guy too.
