    Sounds like Orton is hustling and trying hard to get this starting job. He does only has 1 year on his contract so he needs to. I am totally willing to give him a shot with all of our offensive weapons, he had nothing in Chicago so hopefully we have not seen what he is capable of. I do think we should go for Sanchez if he is there at 12, sit back for year and start fresh with him. We have plenty of picks and Sanchez is big, strong and smart.

    yeah i agree with Orton for the year. but not Sanchez. the guy it too raw. and we have WAY TOO MANY holes on defense to draft a QB high in the draft. we have two first round picks next year with a much better QB class to select from. Rhett Bomar or John Parker Wilson will be available in the late rounds this year and they can be groomed to take over also. this QB class is weak this year. Stafford is overrated, Sanchez is just too raw and inexperienced, and Josh Freeman is too high on the board. if this was nect years class Freeman wouldnt even be talked about being in the first round. like Flacco last year. he only went in the first round because of the weak class.

    I think Mark Sanchez is a stud, but not for the Broncos this year.

    Sanchez should have stayed at USC to improve his draft stock even more. Sanchez is one of the most instinctive and intelligent QBs out there but Kerry is right, he is way to raw. I hope he does well on an NFC team because he’s a player that truly loves the game.

    Sanchez is not nearly as good as all the hype would suggest. When he declared for the draft Pete Carrol flat out said he wasn’t good enough to be a starter in the NFL, and lets remember Pete Carroll has put guys there before and has had tremendous amounts of talent come through his program, if he doesn’t think you can take it to the next level than you most likely can’t, I would like to see all defense taken in the early rounds and maybe a running back if a talented one drops into the 3rd perhaps, I think our best shot at qb this year would be to take Graham Harrell in the 6th round if hes still available and there is a good chance he could be, it is very likely he will succeed in the NFL, he has a good arm, makes good fast reads and puts the ball on the money just about every time, he set the NCAA touchdown scoring record against very very good defenses in the big 12 (unlike colt brennen who played in the WAC) who were all scheming to shut down the TT offensive attack and just couldn’t do it, this kid will be a steal in the 6th round and what do you have to lose with a pick in the 6th round anyways?

    I am a diehard USC homer but Sanchez is not a top flight QB at this point. One good college season does not establish one as a true NFL talent. He should have stayed at school and if he tore up in the upcoming season then his stock would have risen significantly. I can see why he left school ($) in a thin QB year, but it MAY come back to bite him in the long run. I wish him success, just not with Denver this year.

    the thing about drafting QB’s in the first round and expect them to start is there has to be a running game. like peyton manning – marshall faulk, big ben- the bus, matt ryan- mike turner. It takes the load off the QB. i want to by into McD system but i would love to see a running game to compliment the QB we draft in this year or next years draft. thats IF we do draft a QB high.

    How about something new, I don’t think anyone dislikes you, you just have nothing to really ADD. We get it, you think the Broncos will suck for years, many of us disagree. But what’s the point in saying it over and over. Cutler throwing 5k? You’re out of your mind, he has no receivers and Lovie Smith would never give him free reign like that. If Cutler’s throws for 5k then you better add that he also throws 20+ ints, that’s only mathematics.

    I’m not saying I’m here trying to right the post of all posts, but everyone else is throwing out ideas for draft picks, how they’ll work in the defense, whether we trade up or not for Sanchez (NO), shit like that. Posts that get us going and ready for April 26th and this season. You want to bring that garbage, save it, you’ve said enough already. Its so easy to mail it in and say we’ll suck and call it a day, but the majority of everyone here are Denver Bronco fans who don’t see the demise of our franchise. Either bring something intelligent to ADD or save it, we get it you think we’ll suck next year, now move on and join us or get the f**k out of here (i mean that in the nicest way).

    WOW lets just talk football not your guys mental issues

    Realistically Denver’s been through allot and this year might not be the best but still if you call your self a fan try supporting them for once. Our defense is terrible our offense i believe will still be top 15 with or without Cutler. Orton or Simms can look good with all our weapons and good pass protection. All we nead to do is upgrade this defense which Nolan is famous for and we will be alright.

    I hope that you are young and just waiting for the right person to come along and help your spelling and grammar. Hint: the little red lines mean that maybe you need to try again. Denver is in the process of stockpiling talent fellas. 10 picks and 5 in the top 100 means we are going to immediately gain athleticism, depth, and some long term talent. Immediate impact on special teams and defense. We are going to be fine with the neckbeard. Kyle Orton is a working class QB who has the ability to pick a defense to death from the spread. Read between the lines on what the Bears team captain had to say. He didn’t like losing Orton and thought they gave up too much. He should know.

    I know we’re supposed to let this go but DAMN I agree so completely with you bud! I also see Chicago going to the play-offs. Not far without another WR but Jay does make em look good! A problem could definitely be his Oline but his pocket presence and quick feet do make a line look better. (Ours will be really good without Jay tho) My main reason jcampb72 wins the bet tho is Chicago gets healthier on both sides of the ball and Jay helps… not a bad team.
