Case Dismissed

Multiple sources are now reporting that the case against Brandon Marshall has been dropped.

“Based on my investigation yesterday, he shouldn’t have been charged in the first place and I was confident the charges would be dismissed.” — Harvey Steinberg (Marshall’s attorney) 3/2/09

…um…yeah, that’s what most defense attorney’s would say.

UPDATE: It now appears the Commish will definately take a look into this, as this arrest appears to be related to his previous arrests. Atlanta police records show that Marshall and his fiancee, Michi Nogami-Campbell, were fighting outside their Atlanta area condo. It appears they were both kicking and punching each other, according to multiple witnesses. They both declined medical treatment and were both arrested that night.

This is NOT good, folks…

    Good…I was about to jump ship on Marshall and stop wearing my marshall hoody. Glad I didn’t have to do that…I love that hoody.

    yeah.. but lets see what happens when the rest of the story comes out… I am sure questions will arise if he why he was in a situation in the first place, whether charges where pressed or not

    Ole BM just doesn’t learn. Glad to see him on the Police Blotter again… Now the offseason is really in full gear. Instead of trading JC… why don’t we get him out of here?

    Newspaper in Atlanta is reporting that it was a “fight” with his fiance. I personally think Brandon is a good guy and an outstanding football player. I think McDaniels should re-sign him to a 4 or 5 year contract extension with one stipulation, he can’t leave the state of Colorado for any reason other than for football games while under contract. Problem solved!!!!

    After reading the update, you really have to wonder what goes through this guy’s head. I agree he should stay in Colorado and maybe become a football playing monk and take a vow of celibacy. I bet we keep Brandon Stokely now!

    Dude needs to get fckd by the law, you won’t learn until you pay for your crimes. If theres no repremands theres no reason for him to stop. 1 game is not punishement, 45 classes of domestic violence is.

    I try to lighten the mood, this Cutler crap is getting annoying… I kinda sorta hate him now …. I’ll like him again when he comes in and says he’s going to be a man and play for this team … and B Marshall is a great receiver but a lousy person hitting women.

    Marshall will get 8 games, which sucks…so you might as well laugh about it ….
    The drama between McD and Cutler is a highschool relationship gone wrong …

    This Cutler thing is starting to become obnoxious. Everybody… Cut, McD, us, NFL, King , Shefter… needs to just give out some space. Talk about something else, then, after the fire is out, start fixing things.

    Marshall is the sh*t and a Dumba** all at the same time. I still believe that like every couple they were probably fighting (he still has no reason to hit or kick her) and the 85 year old married couple across the street called it in.

    I would like to think 3. realistically probably 8. I’ve heard 12 but that seems a little outrageous considering the chargers were dropped.

    I think the Broncos seriously need to cut bait with this guy. It’s only a matter of time before he seriously hurts someone. Its not a maturity issue and goes way beyond football.
