Wild Card Weekend Open Thread

IND In the spirit of sportmanship and honoring battles lost, I only have one thing to say.

    Watching this game in OT, I am baffled by all the penalties. Looks like Colts are going to lose.

    OK, well, as I typed that, Sproles ran it in. Indy D in OT looked tired.

    3rd and two, make it you win the game. Instead of telling the O line and RB, get two yards or you dont deserve it they line the QB up 8 yards behind the LOS. How many times these NFL coaches outthink themselves. Maybe we need a college coach perspective?

    Yea, they got reffed right down the field in OT, NFL powers to be call it even now. So much for refs not interjecting themselves into playoff games.

    Yeah Steve, they just need to let them play. Atleast, thats what they did in the Atlanta/Arizona game.

    I think the Colts should have taken the safety and free kicked it (in regulation). Their D might have been able to handle them in that field position. Anyone remember who did that to us one year and it worked???

    So much for the Manning Bowl. The facemask was the only legit call on that whole drive…weak. But as much as I hate them, San Diego is a very talented football team with a chance to still go all the way. They are representing the weakest division in the League/AFC West, And owned our team last week. Maybe a little respect is due.

    I really hope that this was the last “next year” year in Denver for a while. I want to actually have a team to root for in the playoffs.

    I was thinking the same thing Andy. But that’s a big risk – it puts them in a field-goal-to-win situation instead of to-tie.

    True Kyle but I think field position was key in their win. Yes, JChase, very talented. Anyone else think LT is running out of gas? He said in his post game press conference he didn’t have what it took to “burst through the holes” so they let the other guys carry the load. Kinda seems like a Shaun Alexander situation to me.
