Arrowhead has always been a House of Horrors for the Broncos. Jay Cutler has two interceptions… Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal have both lost fumbles. The Kansas City Chiefs lead 23-13 now, and things aren’t looking good. There’s 12:40 left in the 4th quarter, and Denver will receive the football.
Can the Broncos come back? The offense will have to shake it off. This Arrowhead crowd is fired up. It will be tough, but the Broncos can show their character by coming back with a win.
Drive One: 15 plays and 75 yards later, the Broncos can’t convert in the red zone and settle for 3. It’s 23-16 Chiefs, and Kansas City ball. The defense needs to step up to give the Broncos offense another chance.
Chiefs respond: A huge kickoff return leads to three Chiefs points. Broncos still down 10, now with only just shy of four minutes left. They’ll need two more scoring drives to come back now.
Broncos add 3: Prater gets called upon again, nails it, and we’re down by 7. The defense needs to step up with under 2 minutes to play.
GAME OVER. Larry Johnson runs through the Broncos to the tune of 198 yards and another touchdown. That’s all folks.
