Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall, fresh off a one-game suspension and a killer 18-reception performance in his Week Two debut, may still have consequences to face from his earlier incidents.
CompleteColorado.com is reporting that authorities in Fulton County, Georgia are now pursuing charges stemming from a domestic dispute between Marshall and his then-girlfriend Rasheeda Watley that took place in March of this year. Again, it’s important to note that Marshall has not committed any new crimes – these charges stem from the previous incident.
The details of Marshall’s suspension are not known. He just pleaded guilty to DWAI from an earlier incident, and now charges are being filed for another incident. Does this affect his suspension? We hope not, but who knows? PFT points out that a trial date would likely be in November or December, and the Broncos are headed to Atlanta to play the Falcons on November 16.
