The buzz that the Denver Broncos were struggling to get first round OT Ryan Clady under contract is now apparently premature. News is breaking that the club and Clady have come to terms.
Clady reportedly signed a six-year deal worth $17.5 million with $11.5 million in guarantees. Clady can void the sixth year of his contract by reaching certain playing time incentives.
Clady, an offensive tackle out of Boise St., has been named the team’s starter at left tackle. He is arguably the most significant addition the Broncos made this offseason.
With this, all draft picks are signed and ready to go. Broncos players are undergoing physicals as of 6:00 a.m. this morning, with team meetings beginning at 8 a.m. and the first practice set for 11:15. Gates open for the public at 10:15.
Great news. Let’s focus on football and starting a winning season. Go Broncos!
