Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall

What is going on with the Denver Broncos?  This offseason has been nothing more than an injury-riddled continuation of 2007.

In 2007, the Denver Broncos suffered more lost man games than any other season in Mike Shanahan‘s tenure.  In 2008, we’ve already seen Brandon Marshall severe tendons and nerves in his arm, Jay Cutler being diagnosed with diabetes, Travis Henry missing practice due to a hamstring, and Tony Scheffler missing a month or more due to an aggravated foot injury.

When is enough, enough?  The offensive line should be improved with the return of Nalen and Hamilton, along with some solid competition at the tackle spots.  But will this MASH unit be able to conjure up any plays behind them?

Hopefully Cutler’s diagnosis won’t hamper him (all signs indicate he should be fine, likely even improved)… hopefully Marshall’s recovery goes well… hopefully Henry’s pull is only a minor setback…. hopefully Scheffler can reach his potential and not let this foot injury hamper his career.

Frankly, I’m tired of “hoping” for health, and want to just see my Broncos be able to play.

Well at least it’s the early offseason and everyone has time to heal up.

Caption for the photo: Jay: “Hey Brandon, did you wash your pits this morning? You stink?” Marshall: “Whaa?”

    lol @ the caption.

I’m glad to see those two have smoothed things over though. Plenty of pictures of them just talking and laughing. Good times.

I hate to be morbid, but no one has died this offseason, so that’s a big plus over last year.

gosh, don’t even talk like that.

I agree with Kyle. I’m tired of injury too. It’s been over 4 months since these guys played and less than 3 months before the preseason. What ever happened to healing through the offseaseason? I have a feeling that there will be many more players with question marks by the time Camp is over.

Uh Kyle you wanted to know when enough is enough? Now! lol enough is definitely enough. We need our team to start getting healthy right now…. it’s so frustrating to hear about all our banged up players drunig the off season.

hey, in football you get hurt, but more than not you heal up.
