SPEAK UP: Defensive End in Round One?

We’ve given you arguments for drafting a defensive end in round one.Â We’ve also explored why we shouldn’t.Â Now you tell us: Should the Broncos draft a defensive end in the first round of the draft?

The results of each day’s poll will be tallied and compared, with final results to be reported Friday, April 25, the day before the 2008 NFL Draft!

If you’re having trouble using the poll, please elect to use the one in the upper left sidebar. Some people had trouble last time, and in my tests I even ran across it once. The left sidebar one seems to work better.

If we draft a DE and he doesn’t turn out to be a pro bowler it will be seen as a complete blunder. Even if he became a 10yr solid starter. We’re to soar in many other areas.

I think either an OT or Dt is a much better pick. Why not see if the 2 DE’s drafted last year can play.
