[Raiders] @ [Broncos]

Raider Week is coming to an end! While Daunte Culpepper is looking to get the start (Josh McCown listed as doubtful), the Broncos are finished preparing for their home opener and are ready to take the field at 2:15 PM Mountain Time.

For those who can watch the game live, don’t miss the tribute the Broncos are expected to have for fallen teammates Darrent Williams and Damien Nash in their home opener. I haven’t found news of it, which gives me some hesitation in publishing that comment, but I’d be floored if they didn’t do that in their home opener.

COME JOIN THE PARTY

I don’t have DirectTV myself just yet (my contract with Dish Network expires pretty soon), so I’ll be catching the game on Sirius Channel 143. How are you watching the game today?

I’ll have a first half and second half open threads posts for you to post your own thoughts on the game as it’s happening. No game invokes more passion from Broncos Country than when the Raiders come to town… let’s show ’em our passion by getting the win!

Go Broncos!

WTF, Dish Network? Besides the night game, I have 2 games to view all day, no choice on either – TEN/IND right now, SEA/ARI this afternoon. Fox isn’t showing a morning game and CBS isn’t showing an afternoon game (when the Broncos play). What’s up with that – at least usually I have 2 game to switch between all day?

Week 4 Scouting report… IND/TEN – After a 4th and 1 stop by the Champs, they quickly drove down the field and scored with 8:45 left in the first quarter. Blocked PAT by TEN… 6-0 Colts.

After some research, I found “part 2” of the blackout rule, which I had never heard before. No game can be aired in a local market when that team is playing on another network.

So Fox has the Cardinals late, so CBS can’t show Broncos in my area, per NFL rules. F*@#$@&&@#!!!!! DirecTV can’t come soon enough……………….

Well I’ve just been out for some fish and chips on the way home from the cricket and if that doesn’t give away the fact that I’m in England then I don’t know what will.

I’ll be watching on the NFL’s international game pass over the old Internet.

I don’t think I ever so badly wanted to be in England…

Denver would work too, I guess. Welcome MB!
