UPDATE:  Shortly after this article was published, the club announced that Derek Wolfe has officially signed with the team.  He is the fourth draft pick of Denver’s 2012 draft class to sign.

On Monday, it was reported that defensive tackle Derek Wolfe had agreed to terms with the Denver Broncos.  As of Tuesday however, Wolfe had yet to officially sign the dotted line, per the team.

We expect the Broncos to announce Wolfe’s signing soon however, as his contract details have already been leaked.  Wolfe’s four-year deal is worth $5.206 million, according to Scout.com’s Aaron Wilson.

Denver’s first pick of the 2012 NFL Draft (36th overall), Wolfe will receive a $2.226 million bonus and guaranteed salaries of $390,000 and $480,000.  Per Wilson, Derek Wolfe is due a $146,672 roster bonus in 2013 and a $150,000 roster bonus in 2014.

Due to CBA rules, Wolfe cannot participate in organized team activities until his college class graduates (Wolfe’s soon-to-be alma mater, Cincinnati, completes its 2012 class on June 9).  Wolfe will be able to participate in the team’s first full-team mandatory mini camp, which runs June 12th-through-14th.

Wolfe (6-5, 295 lbs.) has been working on his own in Lisbon, Ohio (his home). “It stinks (not being in Denver),”  Wolfe said. “I like being around my teammates, but you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.”
