WHY PEYTON MANNING WILL NOT WIN A SUPER BOWL IN DENVER | NFL Soup
While I am not generally the rain on anyone’s parade, anybody outside of Denver who really believes that Peyton Manning will take the Broncos to their first Super Bowl since 1998 is dreaming. I will forgive Broncos fans for thinking this way…honestly, you should believe that your team will make the big game every year. Manning is not the first big name quarterback to switch teams late in his career, but historically success has been lacking.

And the NFL Soup guy makes predictable albeit valid points. It’s true, with a healthy Manning, the Broncos can really on realistically expect a playoff berth. After that, who knows. Colts only made it the Super Bowl twice in 13 years with Manning.

Hopefully John Elway recognizes that it was the strength of the guys around him, especially the running game, that finally helped him win the big game.

lol @ only.  Without Manning, the Broncos only made zero Super Bowls in 13 years. ;)
