Round Three

87.  Brock Osweiler, QB, Arizona State

Don’t freak out just yet. Osweiler may not even be available here, but if he is the Broncos just might take him.

Osweiler is a big project, who will have the time to sit behind Peyton Manning and learn the ropes.

Known for his height, the 6’7 Montana born kid is rising up the draft boards. John Fox, Mike McCoy, Adam Gase, Brian Xanders, and John Elway all made the trip in early April to see what the hype is all about.

The Broncos are definitely interested in Osweiler and if he’s available in the third round they’ll pull the trigger.

Something about this just makes sense. As fans we always find ourselves wondering why a certain player has been picked, but not enough of the defense has been addressed yet..

Other Possibilities: If Osweiler is off the board the Broncos will wait to draft a quarterback until the fifth round or so, perhaps looking at San Diego State’s Ryan Lindley. If A.J. Jenkins is still available at this spot the Broncos should select him over Osweiler.
