Play off time bye, bye Broncos LoL.

  • http://thingsatrexdoes.tumblr.com Mike Birtwistle

Opening at home vs the Steelers on a Thursday night then!

  • Bryan

I have us at 8-8 , again. Splitting the KC and Oakland games, and sweeping SD. Wins vs Cleveland, Carolina, Tampa, and Cincy. That’s me basing it on current rosters. Ask me again after the draft, FA, OTA’s etc.

  • Audi

wow 9-10 win is winning.  Those are some rose colored glasses.

  • Joe

Tebow isn’t going to be able to hang on next year. The NFL has caught onto him and is going to run him over next year.

  • sonofjohn

I believe the Peyton Manning led Broncos will go 12-4 next season.

  • RICHARDBONAVENTURA

RICHARD         I THINK DENVER WILL DO VERY WELL WITH PEYTON MANNING, 111-5

  • 8NEL8LY

Funny the statement “welcome to the big leagues” next season, when only 2 of the teams we play have more than 1 SB

  • Anonymous

    Ouch.

  • Anonymous

More than one SB?   What the hell kind of strength of schedule criteria is that?

Also, three of them have multiple SB’s.

  • Anonymous

Yes, because that shows the quality of the team in the current season.

This is a tough schedule.  The “easiest” team the Broncos face on the road is Carolina and even they won 6 games.  The home schedule looks a bit better with Cleveland and Tampa, but it also has the Saints, Texans, and Steelers.

  • Go Denver!

GO BRONCOS!  There’s nothing I hate more than all the Tebow-haters.  How ’bout that playoff win!  :)

    Dude your an idiot

It’s funny how all the Broncos fans come out of the closet when they start wining. I personally think to be a true fan you have to always be a fan, not when it’s convenient.

I really did see us beating new England. Now that we didn’t all i can do is look to next year and i think we are gonna do big things. Lets go broncos, o yea all the haters can suck it.

  • Jerry Fair

You apperantley do not know true Bronco fans because we are in it through thick and thin… The thing that you are experiencing is side effects from a team being talked about all year… then come the bandwagoners…. get your facts straight.. True Bronco fans live and die by the Broncssssss.

  • NoMoreTebowTalk!

What you’re experiencing is the Tebronco fans. They wont stick around when Tebow fails next year and then we’ll have our team back…

  • Anonymous

I don’t think this is an accurate schedule. Swap the NFC West teams and AFC North Teams. The Saints and Falcons were @ Denver in 2008. I was there. The Steelers and Bengals were @ Denver in 2009.

We do play the Texans and Pats but not sure the home and away.

  • blackops!

they will be luckey to win 4 games next year!! lol whoever thanks they will go 9-10 wins is nuts!!! lol

  • X y z

I have to agree – having lived in Colorado for more than half my life I would have to say DB fans are some of the die hards.  Even a bad season the Sports Authority/previously Invesco/Mile High is nearly full.   The waiting list for season tickets is 10 years.

We have the best fans in the league period.

Now we have a franchise QB that with practice will be solid.    The key for the DB is getting 1-2 stellar receivers and fixing the safety gap that will be created when Dawkins is done.   If they do that I think they win 10 games next season (more if they had a more reasonable schedule).

Tebow – thanks for the greatest year in DB history since Elway was number 7.

  • X y z

You obviously have been asleep for the past 10 weeks or so.

  • X Y Z

Bryan, conventional logic would say you are right.   But the Broncos have a franchise history of big upsets and losses against fair teams.    I think you would be better looking at where they match up.   Then again I thought they would play better against NE and much worse against Pittsburgh (even given all the excuses).

I predict they beat Cincy, Oakland twice, KC one time, SD one time, Pittsburgh again, Atlanta and Texans + 2 difficult to predict.

They will win the West at 10-6

  • X Y Z

No way dude – that guy is going to be in the elite next year.   You obviously didn’t see how well he can throw (when they let him do his thing), run and most importantly lift and inspire the team, the fans and the nation.    Remember momentum is everything in games and that comes from an inspired performance which is what Tebow is so good at.   Fox is going to mix it up and they will abandon being so heavy on the option.

I believe he will be the Denver QB for 8-12 years (longer if he wasn’t a running QB) and they will go to the post season multiple times as a result of his leadership.

  • Faniliabarton692

I see Denver at 4-12. This schedule is a very difficult one. Tebow needs help. He has one good wide out in DT but that is it. The O line must get a lot better. The D has a lot of problems in the secondary.

If Tebow can get a couple of speed people with him on O. The O could be very explosive. Now they have no real speed burners. But if they do not pick up any real good people I see them at 4-12. They might just have the hardest schedule in the NFL and for sure in their division. I see them making a serious run in 2013 for the Super Bowl. I feel with all the young players they need one more year before they are ready. Hope I am wrong about 2012. Big Tebow fan here.

  • BroncFan

I would bet on 5-6. I am assuming that the Broncs will split with the Chiefs and Raiders, beat the Bucs, Panthers, and Browns, and pull-out a win against either the Bengals or the Falcons. I believe the Chargers will be back to usual form, the Texans will have Schaub back, we will not be so lucky as to play a Steeler’s team operating at 60% again (and they will have something to prove), and the rest is self-explanatory. They only question is which games will turn to a “W” b/c of significant personnel changes or injuries, which is where we got most of our wins this year.

  • TomJackson

I agree, split with every team in division, we’ll beat the Browns and Bucs because they’re terrible, have a chance against an improving Panthers team with a future pro-bowl qb, and have no chance in any of the other games.  As much as I’d like to say Tebow helped us, our offense was better with Orton, we just learned how to play defense once he left.

  • TUSE

All the Broncos need to do is make a trade with Indy and Jacksonville so that they get Luck for Elway. So he would be happy and have one of his Stanford want to be’s. Then Indy can send Tebow to Jacksonville were He and the Jaugs would be happy and the Jaugs could send there first round pick and  half of that garbage they call a team to Indy. It would be great for Indy because Payton alone is not going to make that a better Team and Denver gets free from the Tebow nightmare and Tebow goes back to Flordia to save Football in Jacksville. Long live the Elway myth that hes not as dumb as he looks and that he was better then to really was. Go Broncos

first off why do you think the ticket sales dropped so much from the beginning of the season and then raised when they were finally winning. every football team has warm weather fans. but the broncos are the worst. after a few losses they will talk a bunch of shit about how shitty they are this year. and the next they’re sucking their dick. And your a dumb shit head.

  • Paul Simon

Denver doesn’t need a quarterback, Brady Quinn would fit into the offense nicely if he was just given the right coaching. He is a very accurate in the passing and is not afraid to role out and pass on the run. He did it at Notre dame and he can do it in the pros. If it wasn’t for the browns drafting him, he could have ended up with a team that would use him more and he can learn from. What Denver needs to do is build around Brady Quinn by imporving the offensive line and get better receivers to take pressure off of Royal and to make it harder for the defenses to double team. They also to need to recreate the running game. If Denver wants to make money from Tebow, they can move him to the Running back and use him to run the a wild cat offense and maybe throw from the wild cat set just to make the opposing teams to think more.

  • Stop crying please

Every single team has warm weather fans, its inevitable.  The Denver Nation is no worse (or better) than most other teams.  Prior to around 2008, had you ever even seen a Saints fan in real life?  Probably not, now its a “Who Dat” nation and they are everywhere.  There’s no application or pre-requisite to be a fan.

I will say this though, Denver always sells out at home no matter what and always will despite a small drop in sales, the games still sold out.  The last blackout/non-sellout was in 1969.  We have a history of winning so you’ll have to excuse us if we are forced to tolerate anything less.

I have been a bronco since birth and have experienced every high and low that being a fan has to offer.  Despite it all, I loved every moment and wouldn’t change a thing.  If you really want to go have a flame-out about warm weather fans and band waggoners, you should realy look elsewhere.

    Mile High til I die.

  • Stop Crying

I would have to disagree with pretty much everything in this post

  • 2 rings

waiting list for bronco season tickets is 7-10 years.

  • 2 rings

Orton was 12-21 as a Bronco

  • 2 rings

    Idiots spell you’re as your

  • Shelbys1988

If you look at the Chiefs and Raiders schedules they are just as tough. Broncos Back To the Playoffs!! Tebow Time baby

  • James

No way Tebow is beating the Texans. The Texans will be the most well-rounded team next year if they stay healthy.

  • BroncFan

What happens to Tebow if Manning lands in KC??? Probably just 1 less win next year. But he would have Rivers, Palmer and Manning in his division. I know I am stating some pretty obvious S@#% here, but Timmy’s luck would go from miraculous to abysmal.

  • Daveed

Not gonna happen. Tebow is just not a good QB.

  • Frogger777

For Tim’s sake I hope denver loses manning and they trade him anyway. Tim and his fans don’t need all the crap. Denver is a surprisingly classless place. Besides, if manning did get the job denver fans will hate the manning maniacs as well. Just a very crass place, denver, co.

  • RodSmith80

Tebow time need a lesson in passing time, the broncos will be below 500 if Tebow starts next year

  • tim tebow rocks

tim tebow is awesome denver bronco and tim tebow haters can suck it real bad cock suckers

  • Man_one

Do you honestly believe these retarded things your brain tells you?

  • Man_one

Brady Quinn is quite accurate…….. Within about 5 yards.

And you’re right, we really need to stop teams from double teaming Royal, how insightful!!

And we definitely need to recreate the running game…. Since it was number one in the nfl last year and everything………

  • Man_one

Ummmmmmm since when was manning ever going to kc????

  • Man_one

Im sure thats exactly how Tim responded as well…

  • Stephentrader

Y’all got manning so 10 plus

  • Lisa

    MANNING!
