Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow will be taking over your television in less than five minutes, Denver Broncos fans.

Yes, we mean more than he already has.

As mentioned in the Daily Links, ESPN’s SportsCenter is dedicating an entire hour to the Mile High Miracle Man. Coverage begins at noon MT. Bill Williamson breaks down the schedule:

  • Highlights of Tebow’ comebacks.
  • Josina Anderson reports live from the Broncos facility.
  • Jerry Rice will break down Tebow’s development as a passer.
  • Steve Young will discuss Tebow’s future and how the Broncos should handle him.
  • An Ed Werder feature: “Winning the Tebow Way.”
  • The debate over Tebow with Skip Bayless.
  • The top-10 Tebow moments, which will include his Florida days.
  • An examination of Tebow’s impact on fantasy football.

Regular near-all encompassing Tim Tebow coverage will resume immediately after the segment.

love how you can read that schedule and tell what every person is going to say w/out even watching. These are the same guys they have talking about Tebow every week.. do an hour long special of Merrill Hoge just staring at the camera with crow in his mouth, I’d watch that…

Anyone know if they are gonna run it again?

  • willbronx

damn, me too. this sucks. trying to find a link to stream it. any ideas anyone??

  • willbronx

actually i blame the dp for the article. just quickly glanced at what time they had it airing and saw i the 1 oclock. “ESPN is dedicating a full hour to non-stop Tebow coverage on its flagship show, SportsCenter, from noon-1 p.m. MST on Wednesday.”

being stupid can be so painful…

No links, and looking at the schedule, nowhere does it say that any particular SportsCenter will be the Tebow Special, so who knows. I’m sure it’ll eventually be on youtube though. If you know anyone with slingbox and dvr, ask them for their web address and then replay it from dvr.

Remember when Sportscenter was a solid hour of highlights and scores?

Hasn’t been that way since the 90’s, unfortunately.

The dude changed his mind on a player that had a bunch of question marks surrounding him earlier in the season.  You don’t have to be a jerk about it

I was wrong. Crow tastes good when it comes with Broncos wins.

Funny, no segments with Merril Hodge? Hmmmmm I wonder why lol.  He’s such a hater. ive notice that since Denvers been winning with Tebow Merrils kept his hateraide in the jug. he hasnt really opened his mouth. its kina funny. i bet Tim’s just giddy about it inside.

I’ve noticed that Hoge isn’t on ESPN all that much during this 5 game winning streak. He was on all the time when we beat Miami and Tebow didn’t look good (or you could say horrible), and he was on all the time when we lost to the Lions. BUT, since then, Tebow has been getting better and better and better, and the Broncos keep winning and winning and winning. Now, Hoge is barely seen on ESPN cause unlike times in the past, Tebow is such a hugh ratings monster, that when people dig their heels in the ground and take a stance against him, they lose pretty much all credibility from that moment on regardless of topic they are talking about once Tebow proves them wrong.
Tebow is proving him wrong, and ESPN knows that putting Hoge in front of a camera will make them as a whole lose credibility, and if they lose credibility, they will lose ratings. They don’t want to lose ratings to the NFL Network. I wonder when Sports Illustrated will come up with a channel. lol

I’m sure his comments about Tebow being so terrible made ratings go through the roof at first, because he was fueling the fire that is Tebow Nation.  At least I know I wanted to watch what he had to say after every game Tebow played.  You would think ESPN would let him keep running his mouth, even if it’s not credible, because people will watch it.  Creating these squabbles makes people tune in. Just watch the First Take every morning and you’ll see what I mean.  Ultimately though, I hope this ends up costing Hoge his job.  That probably won’t happen, but he deserves it, because his hatred for Tebow doesn’t come from what Tebow does on the football field. It’s personal. And it’s unprofessional.

I saw him on with Hannah Storm the other day and she  was looking at him like he was crazy.  lmao.  It made my day to see Bill Parcells and Ditka give him a beatdown Sunday!  lmao
