The Denver Broncos announced on Sunday that the team has waived linebacker Dominic Douglas. Entering the NFL in 2009 as an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Rams, Douglass joined the Broncos last December and appeared in the final four games of the season.
A former Mississippi State linebacker, Douglas was one of just three players in the SEC to record at least 100 tackles his senior year of college. Douglass will probably be signed to a team’s 90-man training camp roster in the near future. Â
The move comes as no surprise, Douglas was basically a fill-in special teamer last season. Best of luck to him wherever he may land.
