One of the biggest names in undrafted free agency is Auburn running back Mario Fannin and per Lindsay Jones and Fannin himself, he has agreed to terms with the Denver Broncos.

For all of those fans who miss Peyton Hillis, Fannin could help out. Denver has just signed a beast of a running back, Fannin meaures in at 5’11, 230 pounds, and combined with 4.38 forty speed. While at Auburn, Fannin set the school record all-time receptions and receiving yards as a running back, the guys got good hands.

Fannin is considered to be a third down back, which places him may explain why the Broncos decided to cut Correll Buckhalter.

After watching him play at Auburn, in the hardest conference in college football, we got a heck of a player out of Fannin. Good hands and a bruiser of a runner.

Reading up on him, I see nothing special. But he's a fumbler, so he'll fit in just fine.

How did this guy not get drafted?  Nice score Broncs!

Wait, what we really need is a second down back, yea, that's it.
Noshow & the new 30 yr old FA running back can run on first down maybe 8-10 plays a game each.
Fanin can handle maybe 12-15 plays a game, if he gets into camp real soon.
Just need that change of pace, durable 2nd down back who can go 13-14 plays a game, a real workhorse…cuz Fox likes to run, run, run.
Then, we can focus on a DT, maybe…if there's any available.

    My 2011 W-L prediction is:   1-15
2012 first pick, first round is: A.Luck

You need to stop bitching and become a real fan, also why dont you learn football before you even open  your mouth. From what you said I can see you are one of the broncos fans that wasn't a fan till they won a super bowl.

I agree!!! As a Gator fan I am excited about Tim Tebow and Auburn's Mario Fannin… Also with a healthy Elvis Dumervil and our newest member Von Miller it should be exciting!!! I can't wait to see who else we pick up in free agency… If defense is top priority and we get some quality run stuffers then Miller and Dumervil will get to the QB!!! DT & RB!!! I say go for Willis!!! Thank goodness football is upon us!!! GO BRONCOS!!!!

1-15??? You must be a San Diego fan!!! What is it with Andrew Luck that is so great?? I am not saying that he is not talented but if I had to choose between him and Tebow I would pick Tebow every time…. Tim has proven himself in college and has had some experience in his role as QB at the pro level!!! He may not have been Peyton Manning in three games with a horrible defense and a sub-par offensive line but he did everything he was asked and more!!! He brings many intangibles to the game that many others don't have!!! Leadership is a big part!!! He has played three games and already has the veterans looking up to him, wanting to play with him!!! I am stoked he is getting the #1 spot and can't wait for him to prove ALL YOU HATERS WRONG!!!!!!! GO BRONCOS!!!!!

Tim Tebow will lead the Broncos to the Superbowl within three years.

Don't know if anyone else caught the FB possibility in the video, but it could make a lot of sense to put a big back like Fannin at FB who could also catch out of the backfield..just one more red zone option that would be hard to cover and tackle

I don't know about Tim leading us to the Superbowl in 3 years, but he has certainly brought fun back to Denver!!

It was reported that Tebow and the 4th string qb was on a whole different practice field than Orton and Quinn for part of the session.  He must be a lot further back than most people are hoping for.  I say win with Orton now, dont blow the whole season to appease the fans who are blinded with their love of Tebow.
