Inside the mind — err, mic — of Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow from Sunday’s 24-23 win over the Houston Texans.

Sound FX: Take-a-Tebow! [NFL Network via DenverBroncos.com]

“There's only One person who carries the ball right here!” lol epic, I love it!!

  • http://broncotalk.net Kyle

That was seriously intense, and ballsy. He stepped up, put himself out there, talked the talk, then — most importantly — walked the walk.

  • Nisse

yeah, or u could argue that he is a diva…

  • TheTroglodyte

You could also argue that the world is flat but that would be stupid too.

  • Nisse

i just liked kyles attitude better, “whatever is best for the team”

u dont tell coaches what to do, kyle didnt, and neather should tim.

  • Kingpins10

That's because Kyle doesn't have the abilities that Tebow does. All the great ones want the ball when it counts.

  • Kelcbug02

tebow is a rookie QB leading his team back to a win from 17-0 . im sure the coaches want Tims input as well because he dosent have very much expierence and they want to know what he feels comfortable doing and what he thinks is best. im sure Orton told the coaches what he thought as well. but i didnt see Denver play like they did in the 2nd half with Orton as QB. ever . no doubt, theyve alwasy wanted to win. but Tims energy has something that pushes those guys and thats what you need in a QB esp when denver is in a bad season. tebow has NEVER had a loosing season as a starter.
    highschool soph. 5-5
    highschool jr 7-5
highschool sr 10-2 , state champs.
(not a starter but some saw the field)college frsh 13-1 , national champs.
college soph 8-4 , heisman winner-1st soph. only TRUE soph.
college jr 13-1 , national champs
college sr 13-1 , sugarbowl champs.

cant deny the guy is a winner. and a leader. denver needs to finish the season , get the new coach and work on what tim does wrong , start him next season. time for a new start in denver , and i think tebow is the QB you want.

  • crazykid

uh, how do you know his sophmore high school stats? lol

I agree with what you said though. Just listening to him pumps me up. I'm sure it has the same effect on the whole team as well.

  • vince_mairne

Winners always want the ball when the game is on the line. Tebow is a winner. There is nothing anyone can say or any data out there to prove otherwise. I can't wait for him to be the full time QB next year. What a leader!

  • mikebirty

Hmmm, I'm torn on that quote.

I like the ballsey-ness of it but if I was Ball or Buckhalter, I'm not sure I'd see it the right way. But then again Tebow did deliver, which is the most important part.

Also, Brandon Lloyd looked pissed at that INT.

  • anthony33

You guys are over thinking this. That was classic. You don't think Elway ever did that?? C'mon Man.

  • dogheadbrew

The coaches should ALWAYS want the input of the people actually executing the play, and I am sure Kyle has, and still has input. It's up to the coaches to to take all the info and make the right call.

I would say calling the number of the guy who wants to win more than anyone else is usually a good call.

  • dogheadbrew

I love the quote. I also have faith that the coaches would have called something else if they thought they had a better option. Remember he had three other rushing TDs from similar situations earlier this season, and no stops. Great attitude and good call. However I know Timmy would have run the play called, if it were a different play.

  • dogheadbrew

This guy's attitude has got to be for real. What NFL, uber-competitive, player would ever say “holy cow” with a “gee wizz Wally” look on his face; as his defense gets pounded like that?

I'd have a tall frosty draught of milk with that guy anytime.

  • Fan From Spain

I like that after all his persona is about faith that he doesn't point up to the sky when he scores. That's so retarded when athletes do that. like if God doesn't have anything better to do then help some football player make a play.

  • TheTroglodyte

haha agreed! It's freaking obnoxious. I think lawyers should start doing that in the court room after they totally own the witness.

  • mikebirty

I'd love it, if after meeting Rivers on Sunday, Tebow's post game conference consisted of “Rivers is a f****** t***”

  • mikebirty

religion is like having a penis, its good that you've got one and i'm happy for you that you are proud of it. But don't go waving it around in public and don't shove it down my kids' throat.

  • areferee

The “Like” button doesn't work, so consider it liked. I owe you a grin.

  • areferee

He'd make a great “Butterbar” in the Corps. (That's the U. S. “Mairne” Corps.) :-)

  • areferee

    C'MON MAN!

  • areferee

Knowing him, he would say: 1 Samuel, 17:32

    lol u da man!

  • TheTroglodyte

HAHAHA! “Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”

  • Vince_marine

Nah….enlisted are the true leaders! :)

  • areferee

“And when the Philistine looked about, and saw (Teebs), he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.”

    “So (Teebs) prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with… stone(s), and smote the Philistine, and slew him”;

Moral: It takes stones to play QB for the “Good Guys”…

  • areferee

    ooh rah!

Show some class guys. No one insults agnostics, even though science proves the Bible true.
