How will the Denver Broncos respond to the midseason firing of head coach Josh McDaniels?  How will interim head coach Eric Studesville handle his first week behind the headset?  We’ll soon find out, as the 3-9 Broncos take on the 3-9 Arizona Cardinals Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:15 p.m. MT.

If the Interim HC insists on continuing with Kyle Orton, Bowlen, Ellis, Xanders and Studesville will see tens of thousands of empty seats for the Houston and San Diego games.

  • Horse no more

Not only will there be empty seats, there will be many a TV getting a rest over the next couple weeks. It is time for a serious shakeup. The play calling on both offense and defense has been horrible and the decision not to give the rookie quarterback Tebow a chance to get experience during a lost season is total BS. Sad time to be a Bronco fan. Is Bowlen the next Al Davis?

    Play of the game:
    Eddie Royal's awesome fumble
    or
those awesome snaps by the Cardinals center

The good…our offensive line. The bad…Orton's lack of arm strength's and lack of mobility. Something must be very wrong with Tebow's development. This is increasingly difficult to watch. Our coaching is terrible!!

  • nosky

Kyle Orton is absolute garbage, I never want to hear about how he is an amazing, elite, MVP quarterback with the stats to back it up ever again. This game COMPLETELY exposed him.

    This was consummate embarrassment.

Mr. Bowlen has so many people to rid himself of, that he should consider not only firing every player that can be identified as dogging it, but firing the entire staff including the water boy and janitor, and then disinfecting the locker room.

If Tim Tebow does not start the Oakland game next week, Mr. Bowlen, Joe Ellis, Xanders and the interim head coach had better prepare themselves for complete anarchy from the fans.

The discontent of Broncos fans goes far beyond who the head coach is. If Mr. Bowlen doesn’t make a strong statement to everyone in the locker room and the fans this week, the empty seats and non-existent TV ratings, from this point forward, certainly will.

A public apology for the teams embarrassing performance is in order.

This is an example of what a rookie coach will give us. I made comment last week that Dudesville is only positioning himself for the HC job. Starting Orton was giving him the best chance??? Come on! He should have taken the high road and started Tebow. First he would have gained respect of the fans. Dudesville should have learned from Mcdaniels mistakes. McDaniels alienated himself from the fans with bad decisions basically from the day he arrived in Denver. Second he would have gained the respect of the owner. If I am the owner, yes I want wins, but I also want a leader that looks at the big picture. As an owner I would also be evaluating his ability to make good decisions for the TEAM. I can only see this as a selfish act on Dudesville. The season was over last week, lets start evaluating the young talent, and help us make better draft decisions.

I can honestly say I hope and pray they don't even interview Dudesville for the HC job. I would rather forfit the remaining games that have to watch this anymore. Wake up Bowlen, get some stones and lead your organization.
