Todd Haley on Monday did his best to make amends following the tumult that resulted from his disrespectful gesture toward Josh McDaniels after his Chiefs were thumped by the Broncos Sunday.

“I do believe in doing what’s right and that was not right,” Haley said. “I probably let the emotions of the situation get me too much. I apologize to the fans and to Denver and to Josh.

“It’s necessary to let everybody know that I would do that over again at the end and that it wasn’t the right thing to do.”

A 49-29 upset is usually enough to fuel the fire of any rivalry, but the heat between these two 2nd-year head coaches is now at rocket fuel levels. Mark your calendars, ladies and gents — the rematch on December 5th in Arrowhead should be good.

Haley Apologizes [Kansas City Star]

    Nope. Still an asshole.

  • mobley

So a Coach does something stupid, goes home afterwards then apologizes in the media the next day. I call that progress. That is setting a good example and I think we can all applaud that.

  • Doom92

I agree with herc… A good example will be at the end of the game there when McImmature shakes his hand no matter the out come…

  • jimery

Doom, Seriously still with the nicknames? You can't really expect people to take you seriously when you can't move past childish put downs. Whether you think he is doing a good job or not, the nicknames are just juvenile. Side note for you, at least have nicknames that make sense. “McImmature”? Really? You can do better, my friend.

  • Doom92

“You can't really expect people to take you seriously” “childish put downs” “at least have nicknames that make sense”…

LMAO… Dude I dont give a crap if you take me serious or not, you are not why I'm here. Are we allowed to say blow me here…lol.

“”McImmature”? Really? You can do better, my friend.”

Your not my friend… If you don't like it don't read it, pretty simple really ;-)… You are one of the whiners that seem to come here to put down anything that others say or write, why don't you just shut the hell up…. REALLY……LMAO

agreed herc_rock. but i think one of the things that need to be said is that josh mcdaniels is not a bad coach. he may not be a great coach or maybe even a good coach but hes not bad at all either. i mean look at his trades that everyone freaked out about. we got kyle orton who is one of the top 3 leaders for passing in the nfl and look where cutler is now. all i can say is i dont expect him to win a super bowl his second year here and hes not doing a bad job. this organization does not need to go down the path of the cowboys either. we need to keep him for at least ten years. i think hes got great potential. And a shout out to josh mcdaniels. keep up the hard work. it will pay off.

  • SivNiz

I agree, I like Josh as coach. I think we should do everything we can to keep him as our coach. What I think he needs help with is personnel decisions.

Here here, December 5th should be off the chain!

  • jimery

Listen Doomass, (see what I did there) I have the same right to “whine” as you do about the coach. If you don't like what I have to say take your own advice and don't read it. While your at it research what a figure of speech is you jackoff.

  • Doom92

Why are you yanking my “jimery” like this (see what I did there?!?) LMAO.

“I have the same right to “whine” as you do about the coach.”

Of course you do!!! You are the one that started this by telling me not to… I've read your crap time and time again and never said a word to your punk ass… I love it when some one doesn't know how stupid they are. whimper, whimper Does your mangina hurt this week… Make an appointment with your man-cologist…

I have to say though you are mildly intertaining… And I love this place BTW… You get to play back and forth like this with out getting banned or something, that is pretty fun.

    Being back on subject…

When I saw the Snub while watching the game I had a “I can talk about my Dad but you cant” moment. I'm not a Josh fan but I didn't like some other nim-rod like that just got his butt handed to him acting like that.

  • Doom92

You know even reading about this and listing to all the radio talk about it I thought the Broncos did just the opposite of running up the score. On the last 2 drives they didn't even pass the ball, I kept hoping for a pass to get the first down and it didn't come, I for one wanted us to go over 50…

  • jimery

Doom, Thanks for the concern, I went to the doctor and everything is fine so don't worry another min about it.

I don't care if you call him names, I'm not saying stop. I just want them to make sense and not be the same old tripe that we've heard over the last 2 seasons. Than being said, I agree with you I enjoy the back and forth it keeps things interesting. For the record I didn't really mean anything against you with my first comment, I've just read so many of those this season I felt like I needed to say something. Remember guys josh is a retard, but he is our little Napoleonic retard… for now anyway.

  • Sharkster

I don't know… I kinda like Doom's sobriquets…..And I kinda like the coach (except for the Hillis debacle)

Still… keep it up boys, the back and forth is amusing, if not enlightening…
