Report: Broncos cut RB Andre Brown, intend to re-sign

The Denver Broncos have cut running back Andre Brown, reports the National Football Post.  The move is intended to be temporary and related to a roster move, according to the report (practice squad S Kyle McCarthy anybody?).  If Brown clears waivers the Broncos hope to bring him back next week.

It’s another sign pointing to the thought that Knowshon Moreno may be good to go tomorrow…. Josh McDaniels has mentioned the possibility of promoting someone from the practice squad to deal with the slew of defensive injuries, so look for someone to be promoted today.

    Perhaps a chance for Lance Ball to make the 53 man squad. If he runs better than the others, they may drop Andre Brown altogether, or sign him back to the practice squad. They certainly need to do something with the running game.
