Jarvis Moss

The hits keep on coming in Denver. Two days after the Denver Broncos lost star outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil for at least four months to a torn pectoral muscle, one of the players meant to replace him has also reportedly been hurt.

Fox 31’s Josina Anderson is reporting that Denver Broncos outside linebacker Jarvis Moss suffered a broken bone in his right hand during practice Friday morning.

Starting right guard Chris Kuper also walked off the field with an apparent right ankle or foot injury. Newly signed running back LenDale White was also seen heading to the locker room early Friday.

Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reports Moss will miss two weeks but will try to play with a club cast on his hand.

Someone out there is really screwing around with Broncos voodoo dolls; I’ve got $20 to whomever finds him and makes him suffer. Take pictures.

This is starting to get ridiculous. I know camp is supposed to be about putting on the pads an getting the feeling of some contact. Not to mention being able to send a message to you teammates that you deserve a spot on the roster…

But to have about half the starting lineups and two thirds of the back ups out with injuries with the first preseason game a mere 9 days away? Maybe it's time for a day of conditioning.

That's exactly what the coach is doing. No pads tonight, no pads tomorrow morning. Then the Invesco practice tomorrow night. No practice Sunday.

On a happy note, I read that Down Town (D. Thomas) really impressed in camp today. Is that true or just hype?

Well that's good at least. How does the D look without everybody?

Very true, he really shined today. Working on the practice report now.

    Concerned:
I know injuries are part of the game and I know McD wants a tough physical team. You have wonder about the logic of the OTA's and 110% demanded at every practice. If you want a car to last longer do you drive it at 120 mph everytime you take it out… no. Walsh, Holmgren and Shula were all highly successful coaches that believed you saved your energy and strength, to a point, for Sunday's.

I know these injuries happened in routine drills, but I have to believe the fatigue factor comes into play and makes you more vunerable to injury.

I don't want to blame the coach… just saying.
