Tebow in the huddle

Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow (15)Â in the huddle during practice. (John Leyba/The Denver Post)

T-10 days until we can all see the 2010 Denver Broncos for the first time in person! Previously on the site, the full schedule was announced, you can see that here. This will be my first time attending a Broncos training camp, so I did some research on what to bring, what not to bring, etc. For any other first timers – or if you just want to refresh your memory, here are  some tips for Training Camp attendees:

  • Gates open to the public one hour before each scheduled practice. Practice times are subject to change without notice. Admission and parking are free.
  • There will be an autograph session for approximately 10 minutes after most practices. A lot of the players are very classy guys though, and some stay longer.
  • Cell phone activity is prohibited inside the ticketed areas during training camp. That includes calls, text messages, live blogging, and transmissions to social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter.
  • No lawn chairs are allowed, and there are no bleachers, but there are
designated areas where you can stand or sit on the grass and watch practice. Umbrellas are also not permitted.
  • No professional photography or video cameras are allowed, but you are allowed to bring basic cameras and get a few million shots of Tim Tebow your favorite Bronco(s).
  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in small quantities, non-alcoholic beaverages will also be avaible for purchase.
  • Soft-sided bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 12” will be permitted at training camp.
  • The Broncos’ team store will be temporarily relocated adjacent to the practice fields during training camp. This area will be clearly marked.

For more detailed information check DenverBroncos.com closer to the start of Training Camp.

Hope to see a lot of you there! Personally, I can’t wait till August!

Make sure you get McDouchebags autograph. That is going to be worth something. Autograph from football's biggest loser!

Where the hell are the signings? still waiting for the top 5 draft picks to sign. An what about Doom?!!

“•No professional photography or video cameras are allowed, but you are allowed to bring basic cameras and get a few million shots of Tim Tebow your favorite Bronco(s).”

are u allowed to record the entire practise using your iphone?
sounds like u are. and today the difference between a pro camera and a regular camera is very small.

  • http://broncoszone.blogspot.com/ Jon

I'm pretty sure you could get away with that. By pro camera I mean like a professional zoom-in lens…

Although, “Cell phone activity is prohibited” so, I'm not sure….

  • denverfanindallas

no one from that first round is signing until Bradford signs… or someone up in the top2-3.. after that they will all fall into place… pricing will take care of itself once bradford gets a crazy deal… my guess is we sign doom after we find out how much our first rounders are going to cost us…

  • Nisse

still, a digital camera could be used to record, and zoom, an expensive one could zoom in pretty well.

so why forbidd recording the practise with a “pro” camera, when u could do the same thing with a digital camera?

  • Big_Pete

I was there last year with my cell phone acting as a camera and a video camera. I never had a problem, and was never told to turn it off. They just basically don't want phones going off and distracting the players, that's all. And I'm sure they only want allowed media to have the up close and personal photos, cause they all have contracts for exclusivity. It's one of the “unenforced” laws.

  • crazykid

we should sign doom to a 2-3 year deal. Even though he had a good season/career so far, i'm afraid to say he sucks in coverage and his size may result in more injuries down the road, so I think the Broncos should wait a little longer before giving him a long term deal

  • Nisse

    nice guess…. :P

Losers are those that go to other teams' blogs to make personal attacks, thereby revealing their limited football IQ and character deficiencies.
