If you’re a Bronco fan you could really care less about this… actually if you’re in NFL fan you should love this. Nonetheless, the NFLN should have edited this on national television, and now they are hearing waves about this. Love it or hate it, McDaniels is passionate.

UPDATE: The NFL YouTube police took the earlier video down, so we posted a new working (and more, um, enthusiastic) version. Thanks to areferee in the comments.

I lost my voice at the “mother focking game”. I had a blast!!!

  • http://kellyleephipps.com Kelly Lee Phipps

Every time something good or bad happened for the rest of the game I would scream out the quote of the night. All We're trying to do is win a M-F game! My wife kept rolling her eyes after a while! LOL

  • Jack

Love it….The video might not be up for long saw it removed by NFL on another website

  • Plato

Love the fire! This is what the team needed!

What an defensive effort. If the Broncos play like this for the rest of the year we can spoil the Colts winning record.

    I WANT THAT VIDEO

  • mikebirty

Unsurprisingly they cut this from the recorded game on the Game Pass :(

Anyone noticed how he sounds like the Squeaky Voiced Teen from the Simpsons when he's angry? And I was sure he was going to cry at the end of that.

  • chooch76

Seriously? That was a dumb comment. Can't find much to criticize about the game so you Criticize The Head Coach's Voice. You are the atypical irritating denver “fan”. Like my grandparents around the dinner table tonight. Couldn't find anything seriously wrong but because you have no idea what your talking about on a day to day basis you criticize the first thing to come under scrutiny. Christ! If I wasn't born in Denver I'd never be a Denver fan. If it weren't for the “fans” the place would be much more tolerable.

  • mikebirty

Well that told me. Saucer of milk to table 2.

What is better than the NFL networks M-Fn mistake is the jab McD took at them after the the game. “it's the NFL network…doesn't surprise me”

Now the NFL takes it down. Chicken S— move.

Got to love McD. What you see is what you get.

This version is still on Youtube, as of 06:00 Friday:

I love the fact that our coach has fire and that he isn't afraid to let the team know when they need to get their heads out of their @#$! This is going to be my new saying for the rest of the year!!!

  • jvill

I care very little about the typical prudish American viewer who gets their panties in a bunch of some salty words on TV that they're heard a zillion times before…

… and more about the fact that the NFLN is broadcasting to the public what our coach is telling his players on the sideline DURING A GAME.

When do we get to eavesdrop on what our opponents' head coaches are telling their teams during games?

NFLN should spend less time whining during the broadcast about being shut out of certain cable offerings, and more time learning how to broadcast like professionals.

i loved the live F-bomb while i watched the game. as soon as it was uttered i said to my dad: “the NFL Network has a hefty fine coming from the FCC” but it was nonetheless awesome.

  • herc_rock

NFL Network's game production is a joke. They miss plays, they cut to camerman who are pointing their lenses at the ground, they point a camera and mic at the most emotional coach in the league in the middle of a “fire you up” speech and are shocked when he lets an MF bomb fly.

    It's the oposite of seamless.

  • steeplebomb

I think his emotion is a breath of fresh air. I couldn't care less if he sounds like Mickey Mouse. If the players take him seriously, its good enough for me.

  • Gary_in_SD

Too MF'n funny!… I couldn't believe how stupid that whole incident made NFLN look. Talk about your ultimate egg on the face moment! Their announcers suck, their production is so far below the other networks, now this… I mean come on guys, it was a replay during TV timeout and you still showed it?!!! What did you expect a coach to say after a 1st and goal that had 3 false starts along the way leading to a field goal? “Gosh fellas, you just got to try a little harder out there for me…please.”

  • Rob_Bronco

Hey, we won the game. If Josh's MF bomb helped us to accomplish that, I'll take the fine any day. Do you know ANY NFL fans that abstain from cursing? If you are a fan of football, then you know the thrill of success and the agony of defeat. And as such, you're constantly on a rollercoaster of emotion. And when you reach the peaks and valleys, you often feel inclined to express your exhiliration or your frustration when the occassional F bomb. Props to McD for letting it fly. At least we know he gives a flying F. :)

  • Ryan

Jvill while I agree with you in not being bothered by an occasional F-Bomb, I also think we need not be so myopic as to believe that only adults are watching the game. This is not The Sopranos.

No need for little Bronco fans like most of us once were to be exposed to that kind of language, or for mom and dad to then have to explain what it means. I am not for censorship but I think the NFL is at its best when kids can be engrossed in it and parents do not have to worry about that kind of language being heard.

Am I blaming McDaniels? No he has the right to say whatever he wants on the sidelines. In fact McDaniels is right; its the NFL Network… what do you expect?

  • herc_rock

go dig the sand out of your vag.

  • Eddy

I have always been a Broncos fan, now I'm a Josh McDaniels fan.

  • NMBronc

    F&&#^%( LOVE IT!!!!

  • Jesse

that's great thinking Ryan. Do your kids go to school and hang around other kids? I know one thing, there is no need to worry about an MFbomb aired on tv because little Johnny at your kids' school is teaching them everything profanity and sex. I am sure you know what I am talking about.

  • pegasus99

Absolutely right. It was up to the NFL Network to catch and bleep the bomb, not for Coach to talk nicey-nice when his players looked like the flippin' Keystone Cops out there. He did EXACTLY what he should have done, and probably got them to correct their self-inflicted cranial rectosis. Well done Coach.
