Jay Cutler threw a horrible interception to the Chiefs’ Derrick Johnson in the third quarter, setting up the Chiefs inside the 40-yard line. Luckily, the Broncos defense responded well. On the subsequent play, Champ Bailey upended Larry Johnson, forcing a fumble that the Broncos recovered.

Two plays later for the Broncos, Cutler was intercepted again on a long bomb to Brandon Marshall. That’s two interceptions for Cutler – his third and fourth of the game. It represents the first two interceptions the Chiefs defense has tallied all season.

Luckily, neither interception led to Kansas City points.

Things are getting ugly in Arrowhead. The offense needs to put up some points as they still trail 16-13 in the third quarter. The defense has been answering for the offense’s shortcomings – it’s time the O returned the favor.
