Denver Broncos home games at INVESCO Field at Mile High will have a new voice throttling the crowds - Alan Roach, who has served the past eight years as the Broncos sideline reporter for 850 KOA-AM. Roach will serve as the team’s new PA announcer starting this year.
From 1995 to 2006, Roach worked in a similar capacity for the Colorado Rockies. Roach replaces Alan Cass, who was the Broncos’ PA announcer since 1988.
Roach will continue to work as a sideline reporter for Denver Broncos away games.

Woot! Excited by this, I was never a fan of Cass. Now if they can learn how to pick better music for the PA. I’m tired of hearing what sounds like gay Brazilian disco music on kickoffs after touchdowns.
Dissapointing. I like Mike Cass a lot.
I guess as long as they keep playing whatever badass song this is before player introductions I’ll be happy:

anyone know the name? Commish? I think it’s Nelly, but I’m not
sure.
Sheesh. Alan Cass.
Who is Mike Cass?
This guy has a voice made for this. Just thinking about all the games I’ve listened to on KOA (Sirius) over the years, whenever they go to the sideline, his booming deep voice stands out. He’ll have no trouble speaking over the throng.
The official site just published their story, adding that he was the PA announcer for the past three Super Bowls. That’s quite a resume.
