In the video above, the NFL Live crew attempts to break down the AFC West. When they get to the Denver Broncos analysis they just butcher it completely. We’re not a complete team by any means, but they nitpick for all the wrong reasons.
- Lack of playmakers – Hi. I’d like to introduce you to Brandon Marshall and Tony Scheffler. They both finished in the top 10 of their positions. Our quarterback has been known to make plays with his big arm AND quick feet as well. Oh, and I pray the 31 other NFL teams underestimate Champ Bailey the way you just did.
- Linebacker corps – “The linebacker position is not content. They have to find a way to put D.J. (Williams) on the field where he can make plays.” Okay. Done.
- Brandon Stokley is not our #1 wide receiver. He’s our #3. But good analysis otherwise.
Michael Smith is the only one that even makes a good point, more of an after thought, by mentioning the defense finding a new identity under Bob Slowik.
Someone give me a job. I’m tired of this complete garbage being spewed around as fact. And people getting paid to spew it. If you’re going to talk about the Broncos, mention the injuries to the offensive line last year, and a lot of new players in new spots this year. Mention the defensive line in any fashion, for crying out loud. Those are our biggest issues.
