[Travis Henry]

Denver Broncos Quarterback Camp resumed today, but running back Travis Henry remained sidelined with a hamstring injury, the Denver Post reports. Henry injured his hamstring running 100-yard drills the Friday before QB Camp began.

Coach Mike Shanahan indicated last week that Henry could return as early as today.

I’m really hoping Henry can be healthy by training camp. This offense needs consistency week to week and it would be Henry’s job to lose if he can just make the practice field. In the meantime, rookie Ryan Torain and 2nd year player Selvin Young will reap the rewards of his absence.

Looks like the Broncos are a little worried with his health considering ESPN just reported we signed Michael Pittman.

wonder what will happen 2 him?

man it is about time to get rid of Travis Henry. he cannot stay healthy ever. he is gonna be way behind when he finally gets healthy. ive supported Henry but its getting thin. we have young guys in Torain, Hall and Young. we get one of them as our number one back.

    maybe we can trade him

if he heals up, and started practicing he could have a 1,200 yard season. “IF!”

Why sign Pittman, Ryan Torain seems like a horse?

  • Denver Diehard

Don’t be surprised if Henry can’t make the final cut.

    Mark,
Ryan will be around for a long while, and he may not be quite ready yet. Pittman has been around for a while and he could have a little stint as a Bronc before retiring

Pittman is really good a catching passes out of the backfeild which might aid Jay Cutler’s development.
