As draft day approaches, BroncoTalk will be giving you game tape highlights of some of the bigger (and smaller) names around the draft. We’re calling ‘em our Draft Prospect Profiles. Today’s installment: Notre Dame DT Trevor Laws.

Second video - after the jump - shows Laws performing at the combine, with an interview afterwards.

all these agility things look good, he looks real strong and it even looks like he could be a good pass rushing inside guy, what i would want to see more of is him against the run, is he a guy that can create some gaps buy sustaining two blockers. thats what i would want to see of a guy like this.

Laws has chicken legs for a guy his size. He’s disruptive in the run game but hasn’t flashed the ability to take on multiple blockers. After red shirting his freshman year and playing 4 more for Notre Dame, he’s probably 24 before he takes his first NFL snap. I’m a little down on this guy based on his draft stock.

He’s got a lot of character and plays with great energy. Its also nice to see someone in top condition like this. You know he’s gonna work hard for you.

Can you all do a look at Dre Moore. I really think he might be where we want to go with the DT position. I havent seen much of him but he seems very athletic, including running a 4.88 at the combine according to Footballs Future. His stats are impressive and he seems like a guy who can plug the gap at 311 lbs and 6′4″.

We’ll be looking at every lineman ranked high enough for the Broncos to take in rounds 1 or 2 (offense and defense). Fret not!
